Shenandoah Telecommunications Company, a Sprint PCS affiliate of Sprint Nextel, announced Monday the addition of a new antenna designed to enhance and expand broadband mobile network coverage in York County.

The cell site went online June 5th, giving businesses and residents of Stewartstown access to Sprint’s 3G network.

The York County implementations are part of a comprehensive effort by Shenandoah to expand coverage, increase capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless network.
