Cogent Joins Armor Partner Program for Security

The Cogent Company, a management and technology consulting firm, has joined the Armor Global Partner Program.

The companies will work together to provide organizations with security and compliance solutions.

“Understanding our customers’ business model, and where their security and compliance risks lie, is a huge priority for us,” said Marc Hoppers, co-founder and managing partner at Cogent. “Working with Armor makes this approach even more effective because we can rely on their vast experience to provide the best counsel and advice possible. The backing of their elite team puts us in ideal position to not only help our user base but also grow our business by offering proven cloud security from one of the best in the business.”

Armor offers two PCI- and HIPAA-compliant solutions: Armor Complete, a virtual private cloud, delivers advanced threat protection within a closed-loop system, for organizations storing and managing highly-sensitive information. Armor Anywhere provides protection for cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure, in addition to private and hybrid clouds, as well as on-premise infrastructure.

“Often, technology providers leave the execution of security processes to their customers who have little to no experience, or the time, to properly install and manage these complex systems,” said Jared Day, president, Armor. “The Cogent Company and Armor present the exact opposite philosophy. While we provide solutions that offer a tremendous benefit to customer operations, we go a step further by supporting them with an elite security operations center (SOC) to dissect and thwart the latest threats. This is a strong combination of services that makes our new partnership truly exciting.”
