Crains Names MASS Communications a Top NYC Place to Work

MASS Communications has announced the company’s selection to Crain’s 2016 100 Best Places to Work in New York City for the second year in a row.

The award recognizes companies with the most engaged employee workforces. Crain’s works with Best Companies Group, an outside independent research company, to administer the study’s employee engagement surveys, which account for 75 percent of the ranking calculation.

Crain’s New York Business annual rankings are the gold standard for identifying the best employers in the most populous city in the country as well as a financial and cultural arts powerhouse.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of the best places to work by our employees, who are the heart of our company and the driving force of our success as a telecom infrastructure leader,” said Darren Mass, CEO of MASS Communications. “The fact that three-quarters of this survey is focused on employees’ work experiences reflects well on our values as a company – we believe that when people grow, the business grows.”

Jill Kaplan, publisher of Crain’s New York Business, said that the study, now in its ninth year, attracted “a record number of applications representing a wide array of industries throughout the five boroughs.”

MASS Communications is a connectivity and telecom management provider headquartered in the heart of Wall Street in Manhattan. It has seen 122 percent growth over the last three years.

Marc Gold, COO, noted that MASS Communications had 100 percent participation in the employee survey. “We designed our corporate culture around our most important asset, our people,” he said, adding that the company also offers training, certification and education programs to accelerate employees’ career goals.
