Freewire, TELoIP Partner on SD-WAN

Managed service provider Freewire has enhanced its nationwide SD-WAN offering by partnering with TELoIP.

Freewire has been providing managed network solutions for business customers since 2005, and deploying customized SD-WAN solutions in the market for more than three years. TELoIP technology converges all branch WAN and Internet traffic into a single, efficient, cloud-managed network known as a Virtual Intelligent Network Overlay, or VINO, that addresses shifting network requirements as customers run more critical applications in the public cloud.

“TELoIP’s solution extends software-defined benefits to both WAN and Internet traffic, while including a long list of widely-anticipated features that ultimately decrease infrastructure costs and drastically improve service levels,” said Freewire CIO, Peter Wild.

“Today’s business network landscape has changed,” added Pat Saavedra, founder and CTO of TELoIP. “WAN traffic is still vitally important, but widespread cloud adoption means that customers also need the benefits of SD-Internet to support their increasing dependence on online connectivity. VINO brings it all together, with enhanced performance for WAN, cloud and Internet applications and a customer experience that is efficiently managed through a single pane of glass.”
