Ingram Micro Joins Microsoft Cloud Partner Program

Value-added distributor Ingram Micro has announced its participation in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program, in an effort to expand cloud sales opportunities by enabling direct billing, selling combined offers and services, and directly provision, manage and support Microsoft Cloud offerings.

Additionally, the new program allows Ingram Micro channel partners to sell Office 365 and Windows Intune subscriptions, and take advantage of cloud services by owning the billing process and directly managing support.

“Microsoft’s CSP program is closely aligned with our strategy, and together we will continue to offer new solutions and services through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace,” said Alain Monié, CEO of Ingram Micro. “The expertise we acquired with our Softcom acquisition will enable us to deliver on this program in an exceptional way by offering 24/7 support, migration services and integration, with a variety of cloud service delivery platforms.”

“The Cloud Solution Provider Program puts our partners at the center of the customer relationship,” added Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president for the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “Through their participation, these partners demonstrated dedication to helping the broad channel as well as our mutual customers successfully move to the cloud.”
