Quick Heal Adds Regional Execs, Launches Quick Rewards for Partners

Security specialist Quick Heal Technologies has two key executives, each offering decades of network security experience, to drive expansion of the company’s North American channel program. The company also announced Quick Rewards, a new loyalty program for qualified North American reseller partners.

Paul Lupo, newly appointed Eastern region sales and support manager, brings a combined technical and support background earned during his nearly 20 years of experience in the IT security industry. Prior to joining Quick Heal, he served in a regional sales director capacity with Bitdefender, and has also held sales and IT channel positions with AVG, NitroSecurity (acquired by McAfee), Panda Security and Kaspersky.

Also joining the Quick Heal team is Western regional sales manager Gus Safadi. A former channel manager with ESET, he also has worked with a number of IT security companies including Gateprotect and OpenIAM to develop their channel programs in the western U.S. and Canada. Safadi brings more than 20 years of network security and IT industry experience to Quick Heal.

Anchored by reseller referrals, the Quick Rewards program is designed to provide financial benefits to active channel partners, with no limit on the amount of rewards cash that may be earned. It has launched on the heels of the company’s introduction of the SEQRITE product line in the U.S. and Canada, with all sales handled exclusively through the IT channel.

“It’s common practice for reseller executives to network with one another and talk business – from technology trends and profit margins, to new vendors and products,” said Farokh Karani, director of North America sales and channels at Quick Heal Technologies. “As a newcomer to the North American IT security space, we want those conversations to be about the rewards of doing business with Quick Heal. With Quick Rewards, we’re sending a strong signal to the channel that we want to grow together with them, and that our success is tied directly to theirs.”

Quick Rewards allows authorized channel partners to receive rewards credits representing up to six percent of a referred partner’s first-year Quick Heal SEQRITE product line sales, and four percent of the second year’s sales:

  •     Authorized reseller partners officially refer fellow VAR/resellers to Quick Heal using an online form and receive an acknowledgement back from Quick Heal.
  •     Quick Heal tallies up that partner’s year one sales and, at the end of the first quarter of the new year, provides the referring partner a Quick Heal “Reward” credit good towards future purchase orders submitted to Quick Heal for six percent of that amount.
  •     Next, Quick Heal tallies up the new reseller’s second-year sales, and at the end of the first quarter of the new year, provides the referring partner a Quick Heal “Reward” credit good towards future purchase orders submitted to Quick Heal for four percent of that amount.
  •     There are no limits to the number of referrals that an active reseller can send in, and no limits to the reward dollars that they can earn.

In addition to the loyalty program, authorized Quick Heal partners earn profit margins of up to 50 percent and gain immediate access to high-value rebates, incentives, SPIFFs, deal registration and deal protection through the company’s North American Channel Partner Program. Both programs support Quick Heal’s SEQRITE product line, which targets organizations with five to 5,000 users and place a strong focus on the state, local government and education markets.
