Rackspace has selected CloudPassage Halo as the underlying security and compliance platform enabling the Rackspace Compliance Assistance offering, a managed service targeting companies of all industries and sizes that have specific compliance requirements and that prefer to outsource the management of compliance initiatives.
Halo was chosen specifically for its broad range of controls that are delivered as an on-demand service in any kind of infrastructure: data centers, private cloud or public cloud, regardless of provider, the company said.

Rackspace Compliance Assistance is a managed service solution that helps organizations provide audit assurance and confidence to customers through a tailored offering that combines specialized hosting expertise with a fully managed 24x7x365 security operations center. The service focuses on helping clients address PCI-DSS and HIPAA compliance goals with appropriate monitoring, management and reporting.
