The Alliance Adds Fonality to Its Elite Provider Roster

The Alliance Partners, the channel partner industry organization that brings together agents, VARs, managed service providers, IT consultants and cloud specialists, has signed Fonality as a preferred provider.

Fonality has increased its commitment to the channel over the course of the past year, expanding its channel partner program significantly. As part of its slate of 2016 strategic initiatives, its relationship with the Alliance will include a 12-month Alliance-Fonality exclusive going forward for 2016; Fonality will sign no other new, direct regional or national master agent contracts for the rest of the year.

Any new engagements with master agencies will be brokered and managed via the Alliance.

“Because Fonality offers a variety of deployment options, including public cloud, private cloud, Hybrid-Hosted® or even a combination of those options, we are uniquely positioned to appeal to master agents and the needs of their different customers,” said David Beagle, vice president of channel development at Fonality. “There is a significant opportunity for both Fonality and the member-agents to benefit from a relationship with the Alliance Partners.”

“Our arrangement with Fonality gives our members unique access to its innovative portfolio of collaboration and call center offerings,” added Bill Power, CEO of the Alliance. “Fonality’s suite of services dovetails with our focus on helping our members design and implement tailored solutions for business customers’ specific business challenges and requirements. This relationship is a great fit, and a great way to start off the new year.”

In August, the Alliance Partners announced an expansion of its Alliance Engage program, which connects telecom and IT providers with their agent networks through a series of portals. Through this program, a repository of information about Fonality, including sales sheets, case studies, white papers and current promotions or events, are now available to participating master agents and other members.

“Our member base represents a well-equipped and empowered channel with a tremendous presence across the communications landscape,” said David Gardner, president of the Alliance board and president and CEO at Advantage Communications.

“The combination of Fonality’s commitment to growing its channel footprint, the Alliance’s role as a conduit to distribution opportunities with the top master and direct agents in the country, and Fonality’s smart, flexible and unique suite of offerings is a big win for customers and partners alike.”
