TouchTone Communications has entered into a strategic wholesale partnership with OneTel Security, a telecommunications network consulting group.
“OneTel has been working with TouchTone for over 5 years to perfect its reroute solutions,” said Mark Massey, OneTel’s CEO. “When it comes to the alarm industry, lives are literally on the line. We understand the need to provide every level of redundancy to ensure signal is delivered each and every time.”
Using a multi-layer geographically redundant, fault-tolerant and carrier diverse network, TouchTone securely transports OneTel’s business-critical voice communications, including toll free, local and IP traffic, for its security, life safety and alarm monitoring customers.

As carriers continue to move away from TDM networks because of aging infrastructure and shift to VoIP, OneTel has developed a SIP-based solution for alarm signals–an industry first for RCF and DID traffic.
