Ubiquiti Inks Distro Deal for Asian Markets

Ubiquiti Networks has inked a distribution agreement with ECS, technology distributor with more than 24,500 active channel partners in China, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The agreement represents a strategic move for Ubiquiti’s expansion into Asian markets with its fixed-wireless broadband and enterprise technology.

“We regard Ubiquiti as a comprehensive, intuitive and disruptively priced proposition for our broadband and enterprise customers,” said Jian Hui Ma, vice general manager of ECS. “We’re incredibly excited to offer their innovative products to our channel.”

ECS will offer Ubiquiti’s platforms for service providers (airMAX, airFiber and EdgeMAX) and enterprises (UniFi, UniFi Video and mFi) to its network.

“Expanding Ubiquiti’s presence in Asia is one of our top priorities and ECS is the ideal partner to help us achieve that goal,” said Chris Usher, manager of international business development for Ubiquiti Networks. “We expect ECS’ experience, execution and reach to accelerate our growth throughout the region.”
