MH: Snom was acquired by VTech in 2016, and combined they form a $2.1 billion global company with more than 25 years in the telecommunications market. Snom is recognized as a pioneer in VoIP and leverages that technical expertise to deliver an innovative, diverse and scalable SIP-based portfolio of business phones, DECT mobility and conferencing devices to the business market. CV: What do you consider your primary differentiation point from your nearest competitor(s)? MH: Our ability to offer a total end-to-end Snom SIP-based solution. We offer businesses desk phones, wired and wireless conference phones, DECT key line, single-cell and multi-cell wireless mobility solutions and even public announcement solutions. Snom products are globally renowned for their robust, high-quality and feature- rich offerings. Plus, this is all supported by North America-based sales, marketing, product, engineering, R&D and technical support teams. CV: What are some updates that partners should be aware of? MH: Back in May, Snom unveiled the C620 Wireless SIP Conference Phone, built with DECT 6.0 technology. This phone is fully wireless, giving businesses much greater flexibility. It’s also great for social distancing, as companies return to the workplace. Then in September, Snom announced a partnership with Star2Star. The company is now offering several Snom products including the M100 SMB mobility solution, SIP desksets and the C520 conference phone. And most recently, in December Snom unveiled the elegant D7C expansion module, for the Snom D717, D735 and D785 IP desk phones. Connected via the USB port of the Snom phone – the synchronization is automatic – the module offers 16 freely programmable multicolor LED buttons on three virtual pages.
