ChannelVision: Snom’s M900 DECT will be on display at ITEXPO, as Phone of the Show. Tell us more about the important role that the M900 is playing in this year’s event. Julie Smith: The M900 DECT solution will be deployed to show staff, for seamless mobile communications throughout the week. Configured to be used in the push to talk mode, like a walkie-talkie, the solution is also connected to our partner’s cloud services ensuring that each device also has its own extension for direct contact between team members. CV: Besides a busy trade show floor, what are some other types of suitable environments for the M900? JS: The M900 multi-cell DECT solution can be installed in almost any facility including large healthcare facilities, retail stores and manufacturing facilities and everything in between. The M900 wireless is very easy to deploy and with handsets that can be ruggedized or antibacterial which makes it a great fit for busy, challenging environments where traditional phone systems can’t get the job done. This ensures call quality is crisp and clean, while providing built-in security to keep conversations private. It also comes with TLS encryption for added security. CV: How does the M900 make life easier for IT workers? JS: IT shouldn’t have to worry about deploying and maintaining complex phone systems.
