INTERNATIONAL AGENTS Brazilian ecosystem partners of ServiceNow are taking advantage of a booming market to grow their businesses and expand their scope of services, accord- ing to a new report published by Information Services Group (ISG), a global technology research and advisory firm. The report found that Brazil’s local service provid - ers have been branching out from ServiceNow’s core segment of IT service management (ITSM) to provide an agile workflow platform capable of managing requests and business cases for other enterprise functions. Brazilian providers are riding a wave of growth for ServiceNow, which increased its subscriptions last year despite the COVID-19 pandemic, ISG says. The U.S.- based company has been strengthening its partner ecosystem in Brazil, including making efforts to expand it beyond the Southeast region around São Paolo and Rio de Janeiro and to ensure specific solutions are available in areas such as security and compliance. Forcepoint appointed former VMware global channel boss Pareg Patel as its senior vice president of global channel sales. The U.S. cybersecurity secure access service edge (SASE) vendor says Patel will make strategic investments in its channel to transform its next-generation partner ecosystem. Forcepoint chief revenue officer, John DiLullo, said during Patel’s 14-years at VMware, he helped annual sales grow from approximately $250 million to more than $8 billion. Most recently, Patel was an advisor for Boston-HQ private equity firm Noble Rock.
