Keep reading! VOICE MESSAGE IN CHAT Do you ever have news that requires the tone to be received just right but does not necessarily merit a phone call? Or you don’t have time to type out a message? gloCOM and gloCOM GO now support voice messages in the chat function. A microphone icon allows the user to record voice messages for up to 2 minutes! NEW SMS PROVIDER Bicom Systems’ new partner, VoIP Innovations, is a full-service VoIP provider offering quality services to developers, customers, enterprises and carriers. Partners can now select VoIP Innovations as their SMS provider in their PBXware configuration. STIR/SHAKEN The STIR/SHAKEN framework helps reduce fraudulent robocalls and illegal phone number spoofing. The Bicom Systems PBXware team developed the feature and met the requirements to comply with the rules set by the FCC. Although Bicom Systems does not provide the certificates, the implementation allows signing and validating calls with the authentic STIR/SHAKEN certificates that partners own. 100 VIDEO PARTICIPANTS Grab 99 of your closest colleagues and book a meeting! gloCOM Meeting can now run 100 active video participants in one virtual meeting. The Meeting team enhanced the user experience and optimized the grid size for meetings larger than 60 participants. DEVICE CERTIFICATE VALIDATION (mTLS) Bicom Systems partners need to have advanced security for auto-provisioning. To ensure potential attackers cannot use known MAC addresses and gather extension log-in details, PBXware added the implementation of mTLS (Mutual TLS Verification). The mTLS can validate the client (device) certificate on the server side by taking the Manufacturer ’s Root CA (Certificate Authority) and building a storage of trust on the server side. COMING IN V6.7 • gloCOM and gloCOM GO V6.7 will have the ‘@’ mention feature. • Meeting will be available on gloCOM GO. As you can see, the Bicom Systems team has not been using the summer to rest.
