As this article is being published, our Beta Testers are wrapping up their review of V6.6, and we are preparing for a full release on August 2, 2022. The release includes many exciting new features in PBXware, gloCOM, gloCOM GO, Contact Center, and Meeting. A few noteworthy features to look out for: • STIR/SHAKEN • Extension statistics • Voice messages via Chat • Support for up to 100 video participants • Predictive dialer on gloCOM GO application • Feature flagging (toggling ON\OFF of all chat features from PBXware) • Chat admin transfer and chat message info (delivered/seen by users) • Yealink headset support • New SMS provider: VoIP Innovations CV: Has Bicom Systems released an in-house STIR/SHAKEN solution? Yes! Bicom Systems implemented STIR/SHAKEN in the PBXware V6.6 release. Our partners must still get their SS certificates, but PBXware can handle incoming and outgoing call verification. The reasoning for developing our own caller ID authentication framework is twofold. We do not want our partners’ data to route through third-party service providers’ networks, nor do we want them to pay expensive subscription fees for STIR/SHAKEN extensions. Creating this solution will be a huge advantage for our partners to offer their customers. CV: What is next for Bicom Systems?
