2024 has been a transformative year for Rev. io, with the company building on the momentum of its Tigerpaw acquisition by embarking on a comprehensive integration and platform modernization process. Since acquiring the professional services automation (PSA) pioneer in 2023, securing its place as the industry’s first combined billing and PSA vendor, Rev.io has since renamed Tigerpaw to Rev.io PSA, updated the platform’s look and feel, and integrated its core technology and service teams. Now, Rev.io is gearing up to deploy Rev.io PSA to the web – a move that will roll out in stages between late 2024 and early 2025. This project is no simple undertaking. Rev.io is rebuilding Tigerpaw’s PSA application from the ground up as a cloud-native portal to improve access and mobility across devices. The new Rev.io PSA platform will feature an intuitive user interface and significant improvements to key modules including ticketing, scheduling, service orders and inventory management. The new and improved platform also will be designed with an eye toward incorporating native AI in the longer term. Finally, the platform will be significantly faster and more reliable, with enterprise-grade extensibility and security. Rev.io’s upcoming web relaunch comes as MSPs face rising pressure to speed up workflows and improve efficiency due to evolving customer needs and growing competition. In a recent Canalys survey, MSPs cited scaling operations for business growth, managing vendors and partners, and rising client demands as some of their top challenges. With Rev.io PSA, service providers will gain a powerful, web-based back-office platform that combines the functionalities of a PSA with ERP and CRM capabilities to automate workflows and operate with greater speed and efficiency. Rev.io’s vice president of marketing Patrick Elliott said that Rev.io is now in a strong position to expand deeper into the managed services space with a flexible, extensible web-based PSA and billing offering for MSPs. “In recent years we have seen a rising convergence between the telco channel and managed services,” Elliott explained. “On one hand, many MSPs are moving into telecom to generate revenue streams. At the same time, traditional telecom providers are increasingly getting into managed services. We purchased Tigerpaw to cover both sides of the MSP and CSP fence in one platform and help providers thrive in this new environment.” Looking beyond Rev.io PSA, the company is focusing its efforts on expanding its billing and payments products to help clients further optimize the quote-to-cash process. “Of the companies that we consider our competitors in this space, we are proud to be the only telecom billing software vendor to offer native merchant processing software, which streamlines payments and reduces time to revenue,” Elliott added. “We have also launched a new accounts payable product, which will help service providers easily earn cash back from use of virtual cards within a dedicated payment portal. This is a truly differentiated offering that offers our clients a new, high margin revenue stream.” Rounding out its portfolio, Rev.io also offers the Odin platform, which it obtained by acquiring Park Bench Solutions in 2022. CSPs that use Cisco BroadWorks can leverage Rev.io Odin to easily streamline development and provisioning in the BroadWorks platform, saving significant time and money. In addition, Rev.io Analytics is an innovative data visualization and KPI management solution that transforms critical data into business insights. Current and potential partners have plenty of opportunities to connect with Rev.io this fall, with the company hitting the road for several conferences and events — including its 2024 Client Summit, taking place Sept. 9 -11 in Atlanta. The two-day event will offer networking opportunities as well as access to the latest industry updates and product insights. o For more information on Rev.io’s Client Summit or to partner with Rev.io, contact Patrick Elliott at patricke@rev.io.
