Auvik announced a resale partnership with Liquid Networx, a trusted advisor of strategic IT and cybersecurity services, extending access to Auvik Network Management to Liquid Networx customers in North America. “Liquid Networx’ expansion from MSSP to reseller is a natural progression in a relationship that began in 2017, and that will result in even greater engagement for customers,” said Stacey Tozer, Auvik’s director of channel. Specializing in large and mid-market enterprises as well as the state, local and education (SLED) market with an emphasis on network security, Liquid Networx provides solutions from end-point to multi-site environments based on a new distributed workforce. Liquid Networx partnered with Auvik due to the company’s comprehensive network map, ease of deployment, unparalleled visibility and the low overhead cost for Auvik software. “If you can’t see it, you can’t secure it,” said Robert Short, vice president at Liquid Networx. “We’re in the business of helping people be secure, and network assessments are extremely important to the overall health and security of any IT environment. With Auvik, you’re going to see things you didn’t know you had.” Liquid Networx will deploy and tune Auvik to help identify and explain gaps, weaknesses and redundancies, and remediate these issues, allowing users to get the most out of the platform’s capabilities, continued Short. Recently, Liquid Networx has leveraged its expertise to create a strong presence in the SLED market. This aligns with Auvik’s recent work in the sector, supporting organizations including Fulton Public School and Orion Education & Training. ICYMI Worldwide data center capex is forecast for a 18 percent CAGR as investments shift towards AI, said a new report from Dell’Oro Group. The firm anticipates accelerated computing that optimizes AI workloads will account for a quarter of the data center capex. “Accelerated computing optimized for domain specific workloads such as AI is forecast to exceed $200 billion by 2028, with the majority of the investments deployed by the hyperscale cloud service providers,” said Baron Fung, senior research director at Dell’Oro Group. “In order to drive long-term sustainable growth, the cloud service providers will seek to streamline generalpurpose computing infrastructure costs by transitioning to next-generation server platforms and rack-scale architectures.” Fung also anticipates increased vertical integration efforts by the hyperscalers to control costs and bring further optimizations for their full stack. Meanwhile, the enterprise segment faces near-term headwinds related to economic uncertainties and will adopt a hybrid cloud model for AI and traditional IT workloads, said Fung. The report also noted that by 2028 the top four U.S.-based cloud provider —Amazon, Google, Meta and Microsoft — will account for half of global data center capex. CELLSMART, the cellular intelligence division of SmartCIC, and Telecom Management Resources (TMR), a U.S.-based bespoke solutions provider, have partnered with Abundant IoT, a nexgen technology company, to connect IoT solutions with fixed wireless access (FWA). CELLSMART will provide site-by-site cellular intelligence, on-the-ground engineers and comprehensive end-to-end FWA solutions that support IoT rollouts. Through CELLSMART, Abundant IoT will offer its customers rapid access to the best possible cellular networks available in a given location with engineers ready to adapt solutions to local RF environments. The result is highperformance, resilient and secure networking delivered in days instead of months, said the companies. CELLSMART’s comparative analysis of local cellular providers, coupled with its global database of cellular performance data, enables it to deliver solutions optimized for local deployment scenarios. SmartCIC and CELLSMART signed an agreement with TMR in Q4 2023 to accelerate FWA adoption in North America. As CELLSMART’s master agent, TMR is responsible for growing FWA solutions that leverage CELLSMART’s cellular intelligence throughout North America. It offers a comparative analysis of local cellular providers and rankings based on cellular performance in a local area. “The intersection of FWA and IoT is transforming a growing number of industry verticals. Organizations are seeing that IoT can be rapidly deployed and scaled up with trusted connectivity. We’re excited to be working with Abundant IoT and enabling its customers to benefit from intelligence-driven FWA,” said Toby Forman, CEO at CELLSMART.
