Enterprises are increasingly viewing satellites as a core part of their connectivity stack, as they expand globally and prioritize uptime and availability. A recent GSMA study found that almost 45 percent of enterprises consider satellite connectivity extremely important to their technology plans – more than 4G (35 percent) and right behind 5G (47 percent). This momentum is being driven by low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, which offer low-latency, highthroughput performance from almost any location. With MSPs such as SmartCIC integrating LEO into their portfolios, organizations can easily access scalable, resilient and future-ready connectivity – delivered in a fraction of the time and at significantly lower cost than legacy options. SmartCIC officially entered the LEO satellite market late in 2024, with the release of a new managed product. The launch, which earned SmartCIC a 2025 ChannelVision Visionary Spotlight Award (VSA) for Satellite Connectivity, significantly expands SmartCIC’s “through-the-line” offering, which now provides connectivity and field services to more than 200 countries. The new managed LEO service initially adds satellite installations and logistics capabilities to 30 different countries, with more expected in the coming months. It also positions SmartCIC to support a wider range of customers, including those in emerging highgrowth markets throughout places including APAC and EMEA where connectivity is limited or unreliable. SmartCIC’s vendor-agnostic approach to connectivity gives customers greater flexibility and agility, and the freedom to choose the solution that best fits their needs. “MSPs, carriers and enterprises are increasingly looking to enter new markets, without having to sit through costly and time-consuming infrastructure builds,” explained SmartCIC CEO Toby Forman. “Our new managed satellite service provides rapid access to high-speed, low-latency connectivity – enabling real-time data transfers, faster service activation and seamless operations even in the most remote areas. It’s a great option for areas where conventional networks fall short.” Partnering organizations can now combine SmartCIC’s managed LEO satellite service with xvolv, a proprietary service from SmartCIC designed to provide network intelligence, performance assurance and AI-driven insights to wireless and mobile networks. xvolv enhances SmartCIC’s global connectivity portfolio – including broadband, direct internet access (DIA), fixed wireless, and now satellite – by providing deep, actionable performance metrics. The service allows partners to deploy and manage high-performance, resilient networks faster and with greater visibility. With xvolv, partners have access to more than just basic speed tests. The groundbreaking platform continuously collects geo-located data, RF metrics and latency figures, benchmarking them across multiple operators and metadata sources to deliver deep, real-time visibility into network performance. This level of insight enables organizations to better predict and optimize local wireless deployments in high-value markets. SmartCIC also provides expert advisory support, helping partners navigate hardware selection logistics, connectivity options and deployment planning. o SmartCIC is a Platinum sponsor of CVxEXPO25 and will be exhibiting in booth #5002.
