Among the reasons for resilience in the technology ecosystem are portfolio flexibility and partners’ readiness to respond quickly to the demands of the market, said TD SYNNEX researchers. Notably, the resale of hardware dropped from 35 percent to 20 percent of total business. “The ability to shift their weight from hardware to services, with the knowledge that this may swing back, is a key differentiator in long-term success,” said the report. Meanwhile, the selling of product lifecycle services, selling own IP and the resale of packaged services each rose 150 percent and 200 percent, respectively. Partners Rebalancing Portfolios
