To compete globally, enterprises must be able to rapidly connect hundreds of sites including remote and challenging areas. However, many enterprises are still using outdated legacy networking services that make it impossible to scale their operations and enter new markets. The global enterprise connectivity market is poised for disruption, as companies look to improve agility and flexibility. Channel partners can easily tap into this opportunity and drive growth by working with SmartCIC, a global managed services provider offering a comprehensive “through-the-line” model that simplifies and accelerates service delivery while providing greater visibility and control over each aspect of enterprise connectivity. SmartCIC’s throughthe-line platform provides access to international wholesale services, access technologies, local networking, shipping and logistics as well as onsite field services, all from a single pane of glass. “Our through-the-line model offers a one-stop-shop for enterprise connectivity,” explained CEO Toby Forman. “We handle everything from the point where the customer orders a circuit all the way through delivery. This streamlined approach includes finding the right providers and handling all aspects of provisioning, configuration, installation and maintenance. The platform saves time and accelerates delivery.” SmartCIC also has massive global reach, providing connectivity into more than 200 countries and territories. In addition, SmartCIC works with more than 1,500 carrier partners and more than 25,000 engineers. By combining connectivity and field services together, partners and customers gain greater visibility and control over their deployments – and faster speed to monetization. “After you sell a project to a customer, you need to be able to monetize that solution as quickly as possible,” Forman said. “We give partners the visibility that they need to ensure all circuits get delivered on time and perform well.” SmartCIC has the resources in place to offer exceptional customer care, as well as a customer-centric philosophy. “Our customers like us because we are highly in-tune with their needs, and we always deliver on our promises,” Forman said. “If we say we’re going to do something, we do it. From a partner point of view, that’s important. If they are handing over a relationship to us, they know that that relationship is in safe hands. We understand that need to make our partners the hero in this, and the way to do that is by delivering for the end-customer.” SmartCIC is investing heavily in talent to keep up with rising customer demand. This year, the company doubled in size and announced key leadership changes. In February, SmartCIC named Albert Bosch as its managing director to drive global sales. In August, the company expanded its sales team to the U.S. by adding James Marsh as its first wholesale account director for North America. In September, SmartCIC named Catherine Hemingray Chief Impact Officer – a move designed to protect and enhance the company’s exceptional culture. “Culture is very important to us here at SmartCIC,” Forman said. “We have a tight team, and we are very geographically diverse. We felt it was important to create a role that focuses on building our culture and making sure that people within our organization really understand it, appreciate it and live it. Nobody lives it more than Catherine. She’s built that business up with me over the past 15 years, and she is absolutely the embodiment of the values that we have.” The company is also building out its networking technologies. This year SmartCIC reached a major milestone by launching xvolv, a new service which enables enterprises, connectivity partners and organizations to combine precision-performance testing and internal data with applied intelligence to predict performance and enhance their networking and business strategies. xvolv’s AI modelling can predict network performance with more than 95 percent accuracy for upload and download speeds. According to Forman, more exciting developments are on the horizon in 2025. For example, the company plans to roll out new intelligent survey tools for xvolv. In addition, SmartCIC will launch an aggregation platform that will provide even more control for its through-the-line process. “As we approach 2025, our message for partners is to get us involved in deals because we can help – especially if you have international opportunities,” Forman said. “SmartCIC operates on a global scale and can help with any type of deployment. We are a very solutions-orientated business – and we’ll be able to help you win that deal at the end of the day.” o SmartCIC is a Gold Sponsor of CVxEXPO24.
