CHANNELVISION | SPRING 2026 For more than two decades, Adaptiv Networks has simplified business connectivity with its high-performance SD-WAN and cybersecurity solutions. Now the company is entering its next phase following its recent acquisition by Scale Computing, a leading Austinbased edge computing and network solutions provider. The acquisition combines Adaptiv’s cloud-native SD-WAN and SASE capabilities with Scale Computing’s SC//AcuVigil managed network solutions, giving partners an expanded portfolio to deliver simpler, more resilient networking along with secure and scalable connectivity. The combined organization now supports more than 9,000 customers and 2,000 channel partners worldwide. Scale Computing is currently offering the Adaptiv portfolio as a standalone offering under its SC//Connect and will soon offer it integrated with the SC// AcuVigil managed network solutions. A Win-Win Acquisition Adaptiv Networks’ acquisition reflects a broader trend in the SD-WAN market, where platform providers have been acquiring smaller vendors to expand their networking capabilities. The deal was a logical decision for the two partner-driven organizations, with Scale Computing seeking to strengthen its technology platform, and Adaptiv Networks looking to scale its operations. Adaptiv Networks was also easy to integrate into Scale Computing’s existing edge computing environment, given its flexible API-driven architecture. “This strategic acquisition enables Scale Computing to enhance its technology with a fullfledged SASE and SD-WAN solution that provides the security and network fabric to support the hyperconverged edge,” explained Adaptiv Networks CEO Bernard Breton. “At the same time, the acquisition gives Scale Computing a foothold in Canada, while also providing greater global reach for Adaptiv Networks’ partners, particularly in Europe.” Positive Reception Following the acquisition, Breton and the team made it a point to connect with partners, discuss the announcement and answer questions. “We’ve spoken with the majority of our partners, and the feedback has been extremely positive,” Breton said. “Most partners understand the business rationale behind the acquisition. Adaptiv was ultimately acquired because of its underlying technology, which validates the decision that our partners made on the company. Scale Computing conducted an in-depth review of the market and concluded that Adaptiv was the technology they needed in their portfolio, reinforcing that partners made the right choice.” Breton also emphasized that the acquisition won’t disrupt existing partner relationships. “We don’t envision a situation where the go-to-market strategy will change significantly,” Breton said. “For partners, it’s been status quo. They’re still receiving the same product but with added reach and more resources. And they’re still working with the same trusted team members.” Breton also noted the strong cultural alignment between the two organizations. “Scale Computing has a pragmatic business culture that closely mirrors what we’ve built at Adaptiv Networks,” Breton said. “The company operates with integrity and transparency – values that have long been pillars at Adaptiv. It’s been a pleasure working with the Scale Computing team, and I’m sure our partners will enjoy the experience as well.” Connect in Las Vegas Partners can connect with Adaptiv Networks and Scale Computing this spring in Las Vegas, where the newly combined organization will be participating in two events. Scale Computing will host its annual user conference, Platform//2026, April 14-16, at Resorts World Las Vegas. Breton and the Adaptiv team will also be attending Channel Partners Conference & Expo, taking place April 13-16, at The Venetian. “Our team is excited to connect with current partners in Las Vegas and showcase our joint capabilities to new and prospective customers,” Breton said. o To schedule a meeting, contact sales@adaptiv-networks.com Adaptiv Networks CEO Bernard Breton A New Chapter for Adaptiv Networks Scale Computing’s acquisition strengthens its edge networking portfolio, while expanding Adaptiv Networks’ reach EDGE TO CLOUD 54
