San Francisco-based cloud contact center provider Talkdesk announced a partnership with  Evolu- tio, a provider of cloud-based services for global companies across the Spanish market. The agreement enables Evolutio to “seamlessly sell, deploy and implement Talkdesk cloud contact center solutions.” “Adding Talkdesk’s cutting-edge CX technology into our portfolio is one more step towards our goal to surround us with the best partners to fulfill our promise of offering cloud-based solutions that meet our customers’ needs to enhance digital and flexible experiences,” said Jacin- to Cavestany, Evolutio CEO. “The Evolutio team, knowledge, assets and reach in Spain makes us the ideal partner to bring Talkdesk into the Spanish market.” Google Cloud has launched its first cloud region in central and eastern Europe (CEE) in Warsaw, Poland, the brand’s 25th location worldwide. Google Cloud’s Poland country manager Magdalena Dziewguć said the Warsaw region will ensure low latency and offer the standard suite of Google Cloud services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Bigtable, Cloud Spanner, and BigQuery. “Companies of all sizes and from every industry based in Poland and elsewhere in central and eastern Europe now have access to the cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence and data analyt - ics, as well as the full-scale computing power of our global network,” she said. The hyperscaler giant said among its first customers in the region using its cloud services are Poland’s largest commercial bank PKO Bank Polski, the country’s leading retailer LP and travel booking company eSky. Google first announced its intention to open its first CEE cloud region back in 2019, when it signed a strategic partnership with Poland’s Domestic Cloud Provider (Chmura Krajowa). Other investments in the region this year by Google include an expansion of the vendor’s cloud engineering hub in Warsaw, and a bigger office in the city of Wrocław. Cybersecurity vendor Secureworks has partnered with Arrow Electron- ics, which will distribute its products throughout Europe. The U.S. based Arrow Electronics has been distribut- ing Secureworks’ products in North America, but the two companies have now enlarged their partnership. Arrow Electronics has been operating in Europe for many years. According to Secureworks, it joined forces with Arrow for its capabi l ities in channel recruitment, channel enablement and sales support. Products and services avai lable through the new distribu- tion agreement include Secure- works Taegis XDR (Extended Detection and Response), Secure- works Taegis ManagedXDR, Secureworks Taegis VDR, and the Secureworks Incident Manage- ment Retainer, for proactive and emergency incident response. With the growing presence of hyperscale cloud service providers, high penetration of internet connectiv- ity, and a keen focus on cybersecurity and data privacy, the demand for data storage and managed hosting services is expected to grow exponentially across the Associate of Southeast Asian (ASEAN) region, according to analysts at ResearchandMarkets. In mature data center markets such as Singapore, which remains the data center hub in the ASEAN region, the demand for wholesale colocation from global cloud service providers will drive the revenue growth for data center services. Emerging data center markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, meanwhile, are poised to experience exponential growth due to the abundant availability of resources, coupled with favorable government policies on developing data center infrastructure. Governments are looking to increase data center adoption to promote digital transformation across industry sectors through effective strategic partner- ships with global and local data center vendors, as well as offering them tax incentives, said the research firm. Markets such as Vietnam are witness- ing growing data center penetration, thanks to local service providers, but these countries lack the necessary connectivity and infrastructure capabilities to attract global data center vendors. Governments in these emerging economies are focusing on improving the readiness of these countries to support hyperscale data centers by enhancing their telecommunications and network infrastructure. In established data center markets such as Singapore as well as countries witnessing high data center growth rates such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, governments have been under- taking several smart city projects as a part of their digital transformation initiatives. Data center service providers are, there- fore, adopting innovative solutions such as data center infrastructure manage- ment, data center modernization and edge or modular data centers to optimize operational workloads and enhance service delivery by limiting latency related issues, said ResearchandMarkets.
