A quick poll of channel partners, asking where they are making money on mobile, found that device/fleet management remains the most frequently capitalized opportunity, followed by expense management and 5G. Perhaps that’s not a surprise. After all, device and expense management programs now offer partners their desired recurring revenue models, as well as a famil- iar value proposition: “let’s check out your invoice and see where we can save you money.” There is also typically no need to “rip and replace” existing solutions and infrastructure, and device management and optimi- zation solutions allow users to view and manage several components and carriers through a “single pane of glass,” thereby making the custom- er’s “life easier.” Sound familiar?
