Broadvoice shook things up this spring, relaunching its website and enhancing its b-hive unified communi - cations as a service (UCaaS) platform. In addition to integrating with Mi- crosoft Teams and Salesforce, b-hive communicator now offers a high-qual- ity video conferencing component for even easier communications and col- laboration. The platform also includes useful features such as SIP trunking, enabling companies to modernize their phones without replacing any hard- ware; toll free; and virtual call center. Broadvoice continues to offer its Bubble business text messaging plat- form, which lets organizations interact instantly with clients wherever they are — via business SMS/MMS messages delivered automatically to their smart- phones. Bubble is offered as a stand- alone solution or can be integrated with a customer’s b-hive phone num- ber. In addition, Bubble has an open API so customers can connect with their existing CRM to keep contacts in sync across their apps. “Users have been raving about Bubble since we introduced it,” said Kim McLachlan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Broad- voice. “Bubble helps increase cus- tomer engagement and connect with new audiences in a way that’s fast, affordable and convenient. So, we’re excited to keep iterating and improv- ing this useful service.” These enhancements are happen- ing at a pivotal time, as companies across all industries are now transitioning to hy- brid work. According to Metrigy’s latest Workplace Collaboration report, 21.4 percent of organizations expect to require in-office work, either full-time or part-time, while 36.4 percent will give employees the choice of continuing to work from home, working in an office, or splitting time between each. Channel partners can use the b-hive platform to help clients up- grade their traditional phone sys- tems and enable hybrid work with a platform that’s highly scalable and backed by the power, flexibility and reliability of 4G LTE failover. Add it all up, and with b-hive cus- tomers have a solution that provides seamless collaboration from anywhere over a highly accessible, centralized platform. The b-hive platform is be- ing widely adopted across multiple verticals including finance, hospitality, automotive, healthcare, real estate, education, multi-site retail and law. It’s also very easy to deploy and use, as admins and users can access a variety of management features over a simple cloud-based dashboard. Best of all, channel partners don’t have to worry about any complicated or expen- sive rollouts. The service can be up and running in just a few clicks. In addition to upgrading its web- site and UCaaS platform, this spring Braodvoice also enhanced its channel team by naming Lauri Martinez vice president of channel marketing. Martinez brings more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience to Broadvoice. Moving forward, Martinez and her marketing team will maintain Broadvoice’s partner program and ensure alignment with the company’s overall growth strategy while devel- oping strategic marketing plans to recruit, onboard and enable partners. Martinez also will manage the Broad- voice Partner Advisory Board and Partner Concierge Program. “Lauri is a passionate and results- driven technology channel marketer and is a welcome addition to our chan- nel leadership team,” said McLachlan. “Her deep skill set in developing mar- keting strategies and programs will be instrumental in helping Broadvoice to accelerate the success of our current and future sales partners and ultimate- ly grow our pipeline.” Broadvoice partners enjoy a range of benefits, including responsive sales and support, an intuitive partner quot- ing tool, an award-winning partner advantage rewards program and gen- erous evergreen residuals. The company also offers a unique President’s Club experience for high earning partners, and top SPIFFS for billing, as well as certi- fied installations and compre - hensive marketing resources. o Broadvoice Provides Modern Communications for More Meaningful Connections Broadvoice recently named Laura Martinez VP of channel marketing PROFILE By Gerald Baldino 62 CHANNEL V ISION | June, 2021
