36 CHANNELVISION | WINTER 2026 SilverSky has a long track record of helping regulated organizations operate securely in increasingly complex and automated environments. Today, that meticulous level of operational expertise is delivered through the partner ecosystem, supporting SME and mid-market organizations. This is especially relevant for regulated companies that are required to check multiple boxes of compliance while defending against sophisticated threats with limited internal resources and steadily expanding regulatory pressure. “Security leaders are increasingly waking up to the fact that, like it or not, we’re now engaged in a constant war against threat actors,” explained SilverSky chief revenue officer, Bruce Wirt. “Adversaries are becoming increasingly sophisticated and emboldened and relentlessly seeking new ways to exploit security gaps and disrupt operations.” SilverSky is helping partners and customers evolve their cybersecurity, as a leading multi-service partner with nearly three decades of operational experience securing regulated and high-consequence environments. Today the company provides three types of offerings including professional services for assessing and planning security strategy, managed services and managed endpoint detection and response (MxDR). SilverSky enables partners to deliver managed extended detection and response without requiring customers or partners to build, staff and operate their own security operations center. Through 24/7 monitoring, threat hunting, investigation and response, SilverSky assumes operational responsibility for detecting and containing security incidents across customer environments. The demand for this operating model continues to grow as organizations struggle to hire and retain specialized security talent. Mordor Intelligence projects the MxDR market will expand at a compound annual growth rate of nearly 22 percent through 2030, reflecting the shift toward outsourced, continuously operated detection and response services. “Partners want to offer credible detection and response services without taking on the risk of operating a SOC,” said Wirt. “Our role is to provide the operational depth and consistency behind the scenes, so partners can confidently deliver these services to their customers.” Since the company was reacquired from BAE Systems in 2019, SilverSky has completed targeted acquisitions to strengthen its detection, analytics and operational capabilities. These investments have been integrated into a unified service model designed to improve response effectiveness, operational consistency and customer experience. “As detection and response becomes central to how security is delivered, we’ve been very deliberate about where we invest,” said Wirt. “MxDR only works if you combine the right technology with experienced people and disciplined operations. Our focus has been on building those teams and capabilities so SilverSky is aligned with how customers and partners need security to function today.” As part of this evolution, SilverSky recently completed an executive realignment, naming Cary Conrad CEO and president, appointing Wirt as CRO and naming former CRO Maureen Kaplan as chief transformation officer. Moving forward, chief technology officer Justin Jackson will also oversee operations and engineering. Thomas Neclerio remains the organization’s chief information security officer. The company has further strengthened its go-to-market focus by adding channel veteran Ira Feuerstein as strategic partner manager and hiring former JSG social media director Vlad Krause to lead marketing efforts. Meanwhile, John Britton will assume the role of vice president of channel sales, where he’ll be instrumental in building and scaling SilverSky’s partner program. Jessica Huellmantel will lead account management efforts as vice president of customer success, supporting long-term customer outcomes and partner-delivered value. “I have great confidence in both John and Jessica,” Wirt said, “John will do a great job supercharging SilverSky’s channel program and Jessica has a great understanding of the complex needs of our customer base. This year, our goal is to become even more focused — nurturing strategic partnerships and asking our partners to target specific customer opportunities, considering our ability to assist regulated organizations, especially in the finance, healthcare and government sectors.” In parallel, SilverSky is optimizing its platform to shorten time to revenue and improve customer satisfaction. Wirt continued, “Any time you complete a flurry of acquisitions like we have, that can result in customer churn — both from customers who were acquired and long-time customers adjusting to change. We’re focusing on building a clear brand and identity. That clarity will help customers better understand the value we provide and ultimately boost retention.” SilverSky is now available to the partner ecosystem through all major TSDs. o To request more information about SilverSky, email learn@silversky.com or visit silversky.com.
