Its ultimate target is to garner and vali- date more than one million buildings. The sites are primarily located in rural loca- tions where carriers often find it difficult to deliver services. Nearly 700 independent local providers make up INDATEL’s 30 statewide members/owners and affiliates. INDATEL also welcomes its newest facility-based member affiliate, PBP Group LLC of Georgia. “PBP is a wonderful addition to the INDATEL nationwide network and helps INDATEL serve more rural customers in the rural southeast,” the company said, adding that INDATEL is also in discussions with several additional poten- tial members in an effort to form a complete nationwide network to include every state in the domestic United States. INDATEL’s network is comprised of autho- rized service providers, enabling clients to operate through a single source for quotes, orders, service delivery, network operations and billing. The model provides carriers and systems integrators with a national point of contact to serve rural and urban-based govern- ment and enterprise customers. In addition, INDATEL offers aggregated pricing for content delivery network (CDN) peering, IP transit services, and most recently, secure and direct connectivity to service exchanges to meet the major cloud-based partners. INDATEL offers wholesale clients the ability to connect Ethernet services through its network of rural independent providers by simply meeting at one or more of INDATEL’s six national points of presence (PoPs), in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, Seattle and Ashburn, Va. The EIS contract vehicle offers consoli- dated, next-generation telecommunications and IP solutions, replacing GSA´s Networx, Regional Local Telecommunications and WITS 3 contracts. As an EIS prime contract holder, Granite is authorized to compete for business from individual agencies, including for voice services, virtual private network services, managed network and Ethernet services, among others. As a result of the award, Granite can propose solutions as a prime contractor on aspects of federal agency information technology, telecommunications and infrastructure for up to $50 billion of services performed for up to 15 years.
