DAY 2 8 ISPAMERICA SHOW I MARCH 2 – 5, 2026 www.bekabusinessmedia.com Morningstar Launches ReadyEdge Intelligent Monitoring for Off-Grid Systems Morningstar Corp., a leading supplier of solar controllers and inverters, has launched ReadyEdge, a purpose-built monitoring and communication platform designed to deliver total system visibility for off-grid power systems. ReadyEdge centralizes system-wide measurement, detection and data aggregation into a single, intelligent platform. Designed to integrate seamlessly with up to 16 Morningstar charge controllers and inverters, it delivers real-time visibility locally through the LiveView dashboard or remotely via the Morningstar SolarConnect cloud. Built to the Morningstar standard, ReadyEdge enables operators to move from reactive maintenance to proactive system management without replacing existing infrastructure. Key features and capabilities include: • Universal compatibility: Interfaces with Morningstar’s professional series products— including TriStar, ProStar and SunSaver models—to add a unified system intelligence layer without requiring system redesign • Advanced battery intelligence: Provides high-accuracy state-of-charge (SOC) tracking across all battery chemistries and integrates with select lithium battery management systems (BMS) for detailed real-time diagnostics and performance data • Intelligent automation and control: Features an internal real-time clock for advanced scheduling and supports generator start/stop control, load prioritization, and coordinated backup power based on renewable availability and system data. • Comprehensive monitoring and detection: Supports digital and analog inputs to monitor fuel levels, temperatures, security loops, door switches and other critical system conditions, with configurable alerts and conditional control. • Industrial-grade reliability: Engineered for demanding environments with an operating temperature range of minus 40 degrees C to 60 degrees C. • Modular, flexible integration: Utilizes the snap-in ReadyBlock expansion system to add metering, signaling and direct BMS communication as system requirements evolve. “At many remote sites, operators may not be aware of issues until they arrive on location,” said Tony Romano, product lead at Morningstar. “ReadyEdge gives operators timely insight into system performance and conditions, helping them address issues earlier and reduce unnecessary site visits.” J Visit Morningstar at ISPAMERICA 2026 booth 338. Cambium Networks, a provider of wireless and wired networking solutions, recently added an innovative capability to its Network Service Edge (NSE) security and SD-WAN platform that enables service providers to assign static public IP addresses over WireGuard VPN tunnels — solving the long-standing issue of public IP unavailability over low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite and, 4G and 5G cellular internet connections. Unlike most solutions that rely on cloud-hosted services, Cambium’s design allows private network operators, MSPs, ISPs, and WISPs to deploy the NSE in their data centers and deliver services directly to customer sites also equipped with NSE. This architecture provides partners complete control of the traffic path while delivering business-grade performance, SD-WAN intelligence, and next-generation firewall protection at every location, said Cambium. “A significant number of our customers required a static public IP for remote visibility, secure access, and equipment management, but that simply wasn’t possible before due to CGNAT restrictions.” said Chris Lynch, director, APC Solutions in the U.K. “With Cambium NSE, we can now deliver that capability through secure, tunnelled public IPs, bringing business-class connectivity and control to locations operating on satellite or 5G links.” To implement the solution, service providers deploy the NSE as a hub in their data center with a pool of public IPv4 addresses. Each customer site installs the NSE at the edge of their site, from which an encrypted WireGuard tunnel is created back to the hub. Through this tunnel, the customer’s NSE receives a dedicated static public IP address, even when connected behind a LEO satellite or cellular WAN connection. Traffic is routed through the provider’s data center infrastructure, giving ISPs and MSPs complete visibility and control. At the same time, each spoke-site NSE delivers integrated SD-WAN, next-generation firewall (NGFW), intrusion prevention, content filtering, and QoS features to protect and optimize local networks. Cambium’s hardware-centric, partnerhosted model ensures providers keep ownership of their customer data and network infrastructure, said the company. No Cambiumoperated backbone or cloud routing is required. All orchestration and monitoring are handled via Cambium’s cnMaestro management platform, providing single-pane visibility across hub and spoke NSE appliances. “We designed NSE for partners who want to deliver high-value services without handing over customer traffic to a third party,” said Bruce Miller, vice president enterprise product management at Cambium Networks. “By combining static IP overlays with SD-WAN and security at every site, our partners can deliver true enterprise-grade connectivity over LEO Satellite, 4G or 5G WAN connections.” J Visit Cambium Networks at ISPAMERICA 2026 booth 204.
