Thanks to the leadership and engagement of providers like you, we enter 2026 with meaningful policy progress and new opportunities to shape the future of broadband. Together, we have fiercely defended the CBRS band and preserved access to the spectrum that has become foundational to wireless broadband innovation. We also have prevailed in critical regulatory and appellate actions, helping ensure that hometown ISPs like you can continue to have a voice and a fair path forward. At the same time, we are entering the long-anticipated phase of BEAD deployment. Many of you are participating directly in these historic investments, bringing connectivity to communities that have waited far too long. Through sustained advocacy with the FCC, NTIA, Congress, and state leaders, we have secured important protections that recognize your significant investment and involvement bridging the divide, guarding against harmful overbuilding. While challenges certainly remain, the environment today is far more constructive than it was just a few years ago—and that progress reflects your active engagement. These successes do not happen by accident or overnight. They are the direct result of members working alongside WISPA’s policy, regulatory, and advocacy teams to ensure that lawmakers and regulators understand the essential role you play. Through regulatory engagement, legislative advocacy, and continued investment in training and workforce development, we are strengthening the foundation for long-term success. ISPAMERICA exists to bring this community together—not only to explore emerging technologies and business opportunities, but to reinforce the relationships and community voice that drive progress. During the next several days, you will hear from policymakers, technology leaders, and fellow operators who are shaping the future of connectivity. You will discover new tools, gain insight into the evolving broadband landscape, and connect with partners who support your growth. Your participation here matters.
