Online Tech, a provider of hybrid and multi-cloud solutions for service providers, channel partners and en- terprise organizations, has acquired IaaS and data protection assets and products of IT provider Neverfail. The acquisition, which includes Neverfail’s five cloud nodes and assets in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, significantly increases Online Tech’s geographic footprint and its ability to serve direct customers while adding tens of thousands of new end users through extensive channel programs.  As part of the transaction, the two companies have entered into an ongoing strategic partnership in which Online Tech will become Neverfail’s preferred cloud provider for its soft- ware solutions. The acquisition and agreement allows Neverfail to focus exclusively on software while partner- ing with Online Tech to provide the cloud infrastructure for compliant sen- sitive customers requiring a high level of confidence in their cloud solutions, said the companies.   In addition, Online Tech will now offer expanded managed services for existing customers and resellers that complement their current cloud, colo- cation, disaster recovery and security solutions. These include a partner-cen- tric private cloud, enhanced data pro- tection (with offsite backup powered by Veeam), Neverfail Workspaces virtual desktop service, Neverfail HybriStor and Neverfail Continuity Engine. Cloud Constellation Corporation, a space-based cloud service provider of data security services, announced the commitment of $100 million from HCH Group Company toward its series B eq- uity round. Utilizing a network of eight satellites in low earth orbit (LEO), Cloud Constellation’s SpaceBelt data security as a service (DSaaS) provides secure, dynamic network and cloud data storage services between any locations on Earth. SpaceBelt offers data security by providing global isolation of an organi- zation’s high-value, highly sensitive data assets from the data breach risk of ter- restrial networks. “HCH’s financial commitment to Space- Belt builds on our momentum to execute on our vision to offer global data protection that leverages commercial space,” said Clifford W.
