icymi P2 Business Solutions announced the addition of industry veteran Jerry Tedino as its vice president of channel engagement. In this new role, Tedino will focus on wireless products and P2’s expanding portfolio of cloud- based business services. Tedino spent 13 years as a vice president at PaeTec Communications (now Windsteam) running the Eastern region, and as regional vice president of the East and South for RapidScale. He also co-founded the Cognitive Consortium to specialize in the inte- gration of networks, cloud computing and big data, IoT, cognitive learning and remote network access security. “The traditional telecom/cloud marketplace is changing at a rapid pace offering our sales partners un- precedented new revenue opportuni- ties,” said Tedino. “Unlike most master agents, P2 is building expertise and offering new, interrelated cloud-based solutions that support marketing, fi- nance and operations. My focus will be to educate partners on new op- portunities, support them in the sales process and help them grow revenue from the customer relationships they have worked so hard to build.” “P2 will continue to have a strong focus on traditional network and cloud services, but the market is growing and the new solutions we represent will open up doors for increased busi- ness,” said Bill Patchett, CEO of P2 Business Solutions. “In 2019, we plan to add at least a dozen new vendors that offer our sales partners a dis- tinct advantage. Jerry’s in a unique position to support the partner that wants to broaden their focus beyond traditional network, build their channel sales practices and ultimately drive revenue growth.” Fusion has announced that Ar- mando Martinez will serve as its se- nior director of national partners.
