S mall and mid-market businesses ap- pear to be all in on digital transforma- tion. According to a recent survey by Insight Enterprises, an IT optimization company, SMBs are open to and excited about how the application of digital technology can fun- damentally change their operating practices, as well as how they deliver value to customers. Digi- tal transformation initiatives are underway at well more than 90 percent of small and mid-market firms surveyed by Insight – defined as companies with fewer than 1,000 employees – and these lo- cal and independent businesses are embracing digital transformation initiatives to improve a vari- ety of business outcomes.
