For nearly four decades, INCOM- PAS, formerly known as COMPTEL, has been the leading advocate for competition across all networks – from fiber and wireless, to streaming services, cloud and edge providers – building an ecosystem that enables all companies in the industry to network and do business. Our advocacy work continues to be critical, as we seek to preserve, promote and expand competition in order to spur continued innovation, expand customer choice and lower prices. Equally important are the net- working opportunities at the annual INCOMPAS show, which offers an economical way for network builder, service providers and vendors to meet in a single location – saving travel costs and time – seal deals and discover new, innovative prod- ucts and services. The Growing Communications Ecosystem As the industry has evolved, so have the types of companies INCOMPAS represents. Our member- ship has grown beyond the competitive long distance, access and local exchange services from our early days to include build- ers of advanced networks and internet, streaming, content, com- munications and technology companies of all sizes. These companies are catalysts for economic growth. Through their tech- nological innovation, and the services they offer and applications enable, INCOMPAS members are improving the quality of life for all Americans. They are investing millions of dol- lars annually, offering a wide array of broadband voice, video, Internet and data offerings. Using both wireline (copper/fiber) and wireless networks, these companies are delivering state- of-the-art solutions, including man- aged services, cloud computing, data storage, over the top (OTT) content and streaming, and unique applica- tions that are developed and deployed via broadband networks. AMarketplace for Sealing Deals Supporting the industry’s growth is The INCOMPAS Show, an an- nual trade show and conference that has earned a strong reputation over the past 30-plus years as the place where business deals are done. Mak- ing up about 50 percent of attendees, The INCOMPAS Show attracts the highest ratio of key decision makers and top-level executives of any other show in the industry. The INCOMPAS Show has his- torically taken place twice a year, in the spring and the fall, but in 2018, INCOMPAS moved to a single annual show – October 29-31 at the ARIA Resort in Las Vegas – designed to optimize travel and save valuable time while offering more opportunities to facilitate meaningful exchanges with prospective and existing clients and build sales pipelines. At The 2018 INCOMPAS Show, you can expect an agenda that is designed to foster even more deal making and networking. At the heart of this is the popular Deal Center – dedicated space where you can take meetings – and the recently added Buyers Forum. The Buyers Forum provides quality industry buyers the opportunity to meet and do business with sellers from across the country in an open, speed-meeting forum during dedicated blocks of time in the exhibit hall. The forum lets buyers make effective use of their time at the show and meet several potential vendors in one place, while sellers can benefit from introductions and one-on-one meetings with new customers. In addi- tion, attendees can book dedicated meeting rooms both on and off the show floor, a reserved bar meeting lounge and reserved meeting pods, as well as networking tables. Exhibiting at The 2018 INCOMPAS Show is another great way to gain visibility among prospects and show- case the new products and services. Recently introduced, the show is of- fering an all-inclusive kiosk that is an economical way to exhibit, eliminat- ing the need to design and ship your own booth set-up to Las Vegas.
