icymi TPx has launched UCx Contact Center for its UCx unified communications as a service (UCaaS) platform. UCx Contact Center is an all-inclusive, cloud- based contact center solution that delivers a seamless experience for both call center agents and customers, said the provider. UCx Contact Center builds upon the core func- tionality of a call center to include advanced features such as customizable call routing, automatic call-backs, built-in call recording and dynamic reporting. The UCx Contact Center web portal empowers customer service agents to work from anywhere, with the ability to place and receive calls for the business from any computer. Supervisors gain access to reports and automatic call recordings that deliver the data they need to optimize the customer’s experience. And, system admins benefit from a simple drag-and-drop interface to create balanced call queues across sites, teams and agents at any location. VoIP Innovations (VI) has launched the VI Show- room platform, which is an extension of the capabilities available within VI’s Apidaze CPaaS (communications platform as a service) offer- ing. The VI Showroom allows developers to distribute apps and services they build to VI’s channel and client base of 2,000 service providers and enterprises. It provides VI’s chan- nel partners and resellers with access to white-labeled CPaaS, as well as pre-built communications apps and services, creating a simple path to participate in the estimated $8.1 billion mar- ketplace for CPaaS services. Initial applications and services will include native- ly-developed apps, as well as solutions from Voxist, VoIPly, and FaxLogic. VI says the Showroom is a versatile platform that caters to three audiences. Developers can publish and monetize apps and services they create. Resellers can white label the Showroom and offer value-added CPaaS enabled apps and services, and business sub- scribers can purchase pre- built communications apps and services.
