CYBER PATROL C hannel partners are increasing their security services to combat emerg - ing threats, Untangle confirmed in a recent benchmark report. According to Untangle, 77 percent of respondents stated that cybersecurity was less than 30 percent of their overall business in 2018. Last year, this climbed to more than 50 percent. What’s more, 99 percent of channel partners indicated that cybersecurity as an overall part of their business will increase or stay the same in 2020. And 85 percent believe that their cyberse - curity revenue will increase. Yet, channel partners still face an uphill battle in educating customers and creating a sense of urgency surrounding cybersecurity. Years of per - sistent cyberattacks have created a lasting sense of “breach fatigue” that many professionals have succumbed to. Some decision makers are flat out tired of overpaying for cybersecurity services, while others feel impervious because they have yet to experience a massive attack.
