62 2018 Visionary spotlight awards | Channel Vision “Before we worked with Evolve IP, our cloud and premises services were spread with multiple vendors, which made management cumbersome at best,” ex- plained Brett King Infrastructure Manager Taylor Whar- ton. “Evolve IP’s unified cloud architecture has made a huge difference for us. Not only has it made managing our IT easier, it’s resulted in significant cost savings and allowed us to upgrade our infrastructure. The flexibility and scope of services that Evolve IP offers allows us to dynamically react to our changing business needs quickly. We see our partnership with Evolve IP as an extension of our dedication to be an industry leader in technology and innovation.” Last but not least there is Unified Office , providing high quality, reliable communications technologies over the internet including VoIP/UC services, real-time ana- lytics, IoT services and sentiment analysis. Unified’s HQRP network establishes highly diverse, reliable end-to-end paths without the need for expen- sive legacy T1 circuits or MPLS tunnels and features an integrated LTE backup solution built into its premises devices. All of its services are integrated into a single software management platform allowing businesses to configure, monitor and manage their Unified Office ser- vices over a user-friendly portal. “Unified Office helps channel partners offer valuable differentiated services beyond just voice,” the company said. On the service provider side, nexVortex was named for “CSP Communications Deployment of the Year,” for the second year in a row. The company’s Managed Hosted Voice Service (mHV) addresses poor-quality hosted voice calls caused by packet loss, delay and inconsistent inter- net service. It includes a small edge device on the customer premises, which is paired with the nexVor- tex network. To compensate for packet loss, it intel- ligently duplicates, transmits and recombines voice data packets traveling between the customer’s site and the hosted voice platform using multiple ISP WAN links. “The statistical probability of multiple WAN links from different ISPs incurring simultaneous packet loss is extremely low,” the company explained. “Voice is duplicated and sent down two different ISP paths to the hosted voice platform in the cloud, so if one ISP incurs a total loss of service, voice continues to flow down the second ISP path and therefore calls are not dropped. If both ISPs remain up and both are incurring lost packets and poor voice quality, our solution is able to choose packets from both paths and recombine them into a quality voice call.” The edge device is known as the nexVortex Edge, or nVE, and has intelligent software developed by nexVor- tex, which provides session-quality management based on SD-WAN technology. “What makes this unique is that it is purpose- built to deliver voice quality for hosted voice,” nexVortex explained. For its channel partners, mHV gives them the con- fidence to sell hosted voice with the knowledge that it will be free from recurring quality problems, which burn time, money and resources to fix. “Hosted voice is growing, and channel partners want to take advantage and sell into that growth mar- ket, but they need a service like mHV which can com- pensate for the packet loss and poor voice quality,” the company said. nexVortex also won a VSA with its managed SIP of- fering (mSIP) in the enterprise channel awards section, for Data, Ethernet and Converged Infrastructure - Best Enabling Technology. This year we added a new category, meant to show- case next-gen technology segments. LG , Telesystem , YipTel and TPx earned recognition here. LG is redefining the digital signage category for 2018 – with perfect blacks, accurate reproduction of over one billion rich colors, limitless contrast and wide viewing angles perfect for high-end installations – the CSP Communications Deployment of the Year Ov e ra l l E xc e l l e nc e Award s : Best Emerging Technology Breakthrough 2018 Ov e ra l l E xc e l l e nc e Award s :
