icymi Fusion has launched a series of enhancements to its UCaaS solution. Developed on the company’s single source cloud services platform, FusionWorks ProUC expands upon Fusion’s MobileConnect UC solution and includes an intuitive softphone, as well as expanded conferencing and collaboration capabilities. FusionWorks Pro UC combines cloud-based voice with video, in- stant messaging presence and online conferencing provided over Fusion’s single, fully integrated technology platform. Features of the SaaS solution are integrated into a single application that can be used on virtually any device, including Windows PCs, MAC OS X, iPhone, iPad as well as Android Smart- phones and tablets. FusionWorks Pro UC’s advanced, new conferencing and collabora- tion features deliver rich presenter functionality, including flexible pass- presenter controls and video layout options, video-floor assignment ca- pabilities, and more, said Fusion. For added flexibility, guests also have multiple ways to join conferences, whether by web browser, MobileCon- nect client or guest client. Guests enjoy the same functionality as an internal user, including access to screen share and presenter controls for seamless collaboration. BullsEye Telecom has joined the Partner Program of master agency Telecom Consulting Group (TCG). As a result, TCG agents now have access to BullsEye’s growing suite of profes- sional services, including SD-WAN, VoIP, broadband, traditional phone ser- vice, IoT, cloud Security, and SMS, all customized and optimized to meet the client’s specific needs. “We’ve been wanting to work with BullsEye for some time now and are happy to be able to offer their extensive suite of products to our partners,” said Dan Pirigyi, partner, Telecom Consulting Group. “We’re looking forward to a tre- mendous partnership and becoming the top seller in the BullsEye program.” Affiliates of private equity firm Siris have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TPx Commu- nications from investors including affiliates of Investcorp and Clarity Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TPx currently serves approximately 30,000 business, government and not- for-profit customers with more than 50,000 locations across the U.S. Siris’ acquisition reportedly will provide TPx with the resources it needs to continue the growth it is realizing in the fast- growing markets of UCaaS, CCaaS and managed IT services. “TPx has created a tremendous growth story over the past decade and we’re going to keep that narrative go- ing strong,” said Dick Jalkut, chairman of the board and CEO of TPx. “Adding Siris’ experience and expertise in the UCaaS and managed IT services mar- kets will make us even better-positioned to build on our award-winning track record of innovation and service quality for the benefit of our customers.” The transaction is expected to close in the first or second quarter of 2020, subject to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other cus- tomary closing conditions. Momentum, Avant Announce Partnership Momentum Telecom, a provider of unified communications solutions for medium and large enterprises, has partnered with Avant Communications to offer Momentum Telecom solu- tions to its large base of partners.  “We are thrilled to add Momentum Telecom to our solution provider port- folio, “said Howard Huerta, vice presi- dent of partner channel at Avant.  “Momentum has proven their commit- ment to the channel and differentiated themselves from the growing pack of cloud voice providers.” Nitel Names Clarke Director of Partner Experience Nitel recently announced the promo- tion of Stacey Clarke to director of part- ner experience. In her new role, Clarke will be responsible for the next phase of growth of the Elite Partner Program. She will lead the partner advocate team and interface directly with top partners nationwide to ensure effective align- ment of resources, said the company. Clarke joined Nitel in February of 2018, serving as their regional channel director supporting partners in Wash- ington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Prior to joining Nitel, she was director of sales for Windstream Communications where she built and led a team of sales executives in the mid-Atlantic region.
