Sept/Oct 19 - ChannelVision Magazine

CV: What is one thing agents should know about your company? BP: We have been around for over 10 years now, and for the last six we have been seriously focus- ing on mobility, wireless and IoT products. We feel that the channel itself still is focusing on traditional voice and data, and there’s a big opportunity within the wireless space that many, if not most agents, haven’t considered. It’s a great way to add to their existing residual base. CV: Tell us about P2’s recent partnership with MetTel. BP: We currently hold a Diamond agreement with MetTel, which is the highest level that they offer. We’ve been a partner with them on the agency side for the last 10 years. Prior to that, I was the existing executive director of sales at MetTel and have a long-standing relationship with the company. CV: Why is the P2/ MetTel partnership a can’t-miss opportunity for agents? BP: We are currently running a “Pot of Gold” promotion, where we are paying back partners a percentage based on the wireless sales that they bring to us through the end of the year. If they bring us $100,000 worth of business from MetTel, there’s a sliding scale based on that revenue that we’re go- ing to pay back again in January of 2020. So the payout is pretty non-traditional, and it’s a very unique program that’s available to any sub agent around the U.S. that runs their wireless business through us. There is a tremendous opportunity here to make money – and we want to spread the word.
