2 WISPA merica 2019 SHOW I MARCH 19 - 21, 2019 It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to WISPAMERICA 2019! At the end of this week, I hope that you leave with many new ideas to make your business a better one. Thank you for taking the time to come and share your experiences and learn from one another. We have a lot of sessions – 50 to be exact – touching on subjects ranging from network engineering to human resources to regulatory issues. Learn from experts and from each other as we work to make the fixed wireless industry a shining example of what works in broadband. Vendors from across the world are bringing cutting-edge products, new ways to run your business and the willingness to train you on their equipment. We hope to cram so much learning and opportunity into this week that you won’t be able to wait for WISPAPALOOZA in October. I started with WISPA just less than a year ago. And I continue to be amazed at all the things that WISPA members do to bring broadband to the communities they serve – to friends, neighbors, government bodies and main street businesses. Our industry has grown substantially and is poised to grow even further. We are punching above our weight in DC, accomplishing significant policy victories and making sure that the world knows who we are and what we’re capable of. We’re helping spread the word that WISPA members are a vital part of getting all Americans on the high-speed internet – of helping all Americans live more equitable, inclusive and fruitful lives. I hope to sit down with many of you during the coming days and visit more of you in the coming months. I want to make sure that this association is working every day to benefit WISPs, and I hope to hear from you about what we are doing right and what we can improve upon. But for now, enjoy the show.
