The transaction is expected to help C3 grow its existing Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO), penetration testing and vulnerability assessment offerings. It will also allow C3 to add new capabilities for security risk assessment, digital forensics and incident response, CMMC and ISO 27001 readiness and SOC2 gap analysis, among other areas. “We are excited to add Compliance Solutions’ substantial information security capabilities to our growing service portfolio,” said Rick Mancinelli, CEO of C3 Complete. “This transaction underscores our commitment to a ‘Security-First’ culture, both internally and for our clients.” In conjunction with this transaction, industry veteran Jonathan Cox and his team of security professionals has joined C3 Complete. Jonathan will serve as vice president of information security, and has assumed leadership of the newly combined team. Cox, in addition to his 10 years of nationally recognized security and compliance consulting experience, brings more than 25 years of systems and network engineering experience to the C3 Complete team. “We are extremely pleased with the result of this transaction,” commented Mark Lammert, president and CEO, Compliance Solutions. “Our focus has always been about serving our clients. While we became aware of the need for better cyber security services, we know the best way to serve our clients is to focus and continue to improve in our efforts regarding registrations, tax calculations and remittance.” ICYMI A leading provider of nationwide managed technology solutions, Telesystem has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with Bigleaf Networks, a leading provider of network optimization solutions. The company is set to relaunch Bigleaf SD-WAN and Bigleaf Home Office in its extensive portfolio of managed solutions. This renewed collaboration will introduce new lower-cost licensing models, providing customers with the ability to affordably take advantage of SD-WAN redundancy and circuit aggregation, said the companies. “Our message to the market is centered around trust, and any vendor that we bring into our portfolio must meet the rigorous standards that we set for anything that is connected to our brand,” said Bruce Wirt, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at Telesystem. “By integrating Bigleaf’s cutting-edge SD-WAN solution into the services we offer, we are equipping our customers with a simple yet gamechanging solution that will empower their digital transformation journey.” Highlights of Telesystem’s managed Bigleaf solution include a firewall-friendly design, which allows for rapid deployment with minimal impact on the current environment; machine reasoning platform that automates intelligent load-balancing, bi-directional QoS, and Same IP Failover; and a Siteto-Cloud architecture that provides end-to-end control and direct peering with today’s cloud applications for improved application performance. “For 5 years we have worked toward creating a powerful new market position that uniquely fits between a billing aggregator and a technology innovator,” added Wirt. “We aim to take best in class technology and bring it to market with an unprecedented layer of security and support.” While 2023 represented a down year for the endpoint and device market, a rebound could be on the horizon, argue executives at TD SYNNEX. In the coming year, we’re likely to see an emergence of AI PCs, where AI and ML capabilities are built directly into the processor for faster speeds and the smartest computing we’ve ever had available at the consumer level. The launch of AI PCs could represent the much-needed reboot that the device market needs, said TD SYNNEX in its recent 2024 tech predictions. “As we see AI at the desktop, that may open up more opportunities around AI devices, better networking and more innovation in mobility,” executive vice president of sales at TD SYNNEX. It could also open up monetization opportunities for the channel. “The introduction of AI is likely to accelerate the growth of hyperscaler services, the launch of AI PCs, and significantly increase service opportunities for partners in managed services, adoption and implementation,” said Sergio Farache, TD SYNNEX chief strategy officer.
