ICYMI Alliance of Channel Women (ACW) a nonprofit organization for accelerating the growth of female leaders in the indirect sales channel of the telecom and IT industry, announced its 2024-25 Board of Directors. The new 11-member board’s new leaders for the 2024-25 term include Mayka Rosales-Peterson (senior manager of partner marketing, Intelisys) as president of ACW, as well as Akilah Murrell (senior manager of channel marketing, 360insights) who will serve ACW as vice president. Additionally, ACW’s five new board members include incoming ACW sponsorship committee chair Madison Beedy (national channel manager, One Ring Networks); incoming ACW DEI committee chair Staci Corbett (senior channel manager, Fusion Connect); secretary and ACW events committee co-chair Sommer Figone (marketing manager, RapidScale); ACW mentorship and local chapters committee member Tracy Hali (VP of sales operations, Intelisys) and ACW DEI committee member Jackie Steinberg (channel chief, DartPoints). At the same time, returning board members include: • Brittany Caito (director of strategic provider management, AppSmart) as ACW technology chair; • Ashley Cole (Senior channel manager, Fusion Connect) as ACW events committee chair; • Amanda Jardine (VP, partner marketing, GoTo) as ACW education committee co-chair; and • Maureen O’Connell (senior director of national partner sales, Comcast Business) as incoming chair of local chapters. ACW also honored the legacy of board member Carolee Cannata, who passed away on December 5, 2023, following a battle with cancer. Cannata, who was director of partner development with GTT, served on the ACW board for two years and was ACW’s sponsor- ship chair. “Sadly, ACW and the channel have lost one of its most vibrant and giving leaders,” said Murrell. “Carolee was a bright light in our community.
