2024 was a pivotal year for New Horizon Communications (NHC), with the Massachusetts-based CSP achieving a double-digit revenue increase while receiving outstanding accolades from several leading TSDs – along with four ChannelVision Visionary Spotlight Awards. NHC also expanded its network and partner base, and enhanced its services portfolio through key integrations with Bigleaf, Fortinet and Check Point. Now, NHC is poised for another breakout year in 2025, driven by relentless demand for communication services and a growing partner program aligned with top TSD’s including Telarus, Intelisys, Sandler Partners, and others. As a partner-first organization, NHC offers healthy commissions and access to a full lineup of technologies across all three layers of the communication “Stack” including Network, Overlay and Managed services – along with proactive support from a deep team of expert technicians and project managers. “This year we will continue focusing on the overall customer and partner experience, working closely with Technology Advisors and Technology Solutions Distributors to build longterm customer relationships,” explained CEO Doug Fabbricatore. “We are also fully committed to maintaining operational superiority and strengthening our existing relationships with carriers and suppliers. So, it’s going to be an exciting year for our channel.” Read ahead to learn more about NHC’s channel outlook in 2025, and how the company is empowering partners to reach new heights. Security Innovation Managing access and network security will remain a major focal point for NHC in the coming months, with the company rolling out new bundled offerings from suppliers like Fortinet, Check Point and Bigleaf Networks at the end of 2024. “There are many SD-WAN and SASE related solutions in the market today, but none are plug and play or one size fits all. They all require understanding the customer’s requirements, expert installation and ongoing management to work effectively,” explained Fabbricatore. This was an expansion of the product portfolio in 2024 for NHC, which up until recently offered SD-WAN solutions from one vendor. “We were able to enhance what we were doing and add some impactful security solutions into the mix as well,” Fabbricatore added. “So far this has worked out very well for us and for our partners.” Fabbricatore views these new services and others as highly complementary for NHC’s portfolio of access offerings. According to Fabbricatore, the company is now experiencing strong growth across its entire stack. “Our ‘top stack’ of managed services continues to perform well, and in the middle of the stack our Overlay products – including hosted voice and SIP services – are also gaining strong momentum,” Fabbricatore said. “We also increased our access options in 2024, adding more carriers last year than ever before.” In 2025, NHC will continue advising partners to look for opportunities to “accessorize” access sales by tacking on services such as wireless backup, distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection and circuit protection. This can be an effective way to stand out from competitors and establish long-term residual revenue while keeping customers on a single invoice. “We always want to encourage people to look at accessorizing some of those things that they put in place, by adding services like our 1G pooled backup or our STACKGuard product which proactively allows us to manage a customer circuit,” Fabbricatore said. “After all, circuit sales are the biggest thing that we do. And now, for a very nominal price of just $9.99, we can proactively manage them. So, when a circuit falters or fails, we will work the repair immediately without waiting for the customer to contact us. We’ll already be on top of the issue – saving significant time and effort for customers.” Enabling Migrations Plain old telephone system (POTS) and time division multiplexing (TDM) migration will be major cash cows for partners in 2025, with millions of POTS lines still in operation and thousands of T1s and PRIs being used.
