Are you looking for a full-service telecommunications partner that goes that extra mile? If so, consider Princeton Hosted Solutions (PHS). An 11-year-old company, Princeton provides unified communications, data circuits, fiber, highspeed internet and numerous other services that customers tend to crave. What makes it truly special, though, is its partnership with Verizon. As an authorized Verizon Partner Solutions affiliate, Princeton provides access to its services as part of the wholesale division’s portfolio. “We can handle everything,” noted Princeton CEO, Brad Bono. “We can help them get onboarded, giving access to services that Verizon Partner Solutions doesn’t offer. If someone doesn’t have billing, we can help them with billing services. Or maybe they don’t have expertise on the regulatory side. We can help with that as well. It’s like we’re bringing Verizon Partner Solutions to the masses, taking off some of the work that Verizon would normally have to do.” With its roots as a reseller, PHS has embraced the concept of helping other business owners shift from being an agent or an interconnect to actually reselling services with their own brand – and beyond. “They’re creating the margin and setting prices,” said Bono, who has, himself, started and sold four businesses through the years. “We’re giving them the ability to exit their business when the time is right. Our expertise is in starting these resellers, creating relationships with carriers, building a business, then exiting and selling it.” The goal has been to assist Princeton Wholesale Services division partners as a resource for valuating their own business and following suit. “As we move forward, we’ve had talks regarding providing an exchange for businesses,” said Bono. “Sort of sit in the middle, where our customers that are buyers have access to our customers that are sellers. Almost like the Zillow of our universe. We’re already doing that today. People call me up and say they are interested in selling. I’ll tell them the most important, key things. The businesses can then either run and be profitable or exit after we find them a good strategic partner.” Whether assisting with a market departure or just helping partners gain traction in the channel, PHS is happy to assist. Whereas many companies have been driven away from entering the wholesale carrier fray over concerns for all of the tasks that they would have to fulfill, Princeton can essentially white label first-tier support. Concerns regarding staffing and other resources are virtually eliminated, as PHS can handle outsourced support, billing and other areas as if under the company’s own brand. “There aren’t too many companies doing what we do,” said Bono. “We’re essentially creating service providers. We’re taking agents and we’re getting them to where they own their customers, versus – in the traditional agent world – the customer is actually owned by the carrier.” It all comes down to the connections that Princeton Hosted Solutions has forged with time. By helping its own partners essentially become Verizon partners, they gain access to the carrier’s suite of, for example, high-speed internet, gig and cybersecurity products. In that respect, PHS works to open up new products and opportunities to people that otherwise might not have access. There is also opportunity for success when PHS, itself, inevitably exits. “People that come on board and build with us will get the chance – when Princeton exits – to participate in it,” said Bono. “We’re giving folks the ability to join up and build a business with us on the UCaaS side, and stay with us if and when we sell. That’s something we’ve been kicking around since last year, and we’re about 95 percent there.” For more info on Princeton Hosted Solutions and the opportunities that it presents, visit www.princetonhs.com or call (855) 747-4111.
