those systems and establishing best practices for enabling and managing dispersed workforces moving forward. And despite any recent headlines concerning RTO mandates or antiWFH tweets, it’s more likely we’ll see increasing rates rather than declining rates of flexible work arrangements among RCEs in the longer term. If enterprises are planning a big pull back to the office, someone needs to inform the IT departments that support remote and hybrid efforts. Analysts at Dimensional Research asked IT executives in charge of the end-user computing environments within their organizations about anticipated spending on an assortment of remote-enabling business technologies. A mere 1 to 4 percent reported an expected decrease in spending in any one category. Three-quarters, meanwhile, are upping dollars on collaboration solutions and half are increasing investment in virtual desktop and employee monitoring.
