Capcon Networks recently announced the general availability of its new Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solution, designed to give ISPs, fiber design and engineering firms, FTTH providers, WISPs and ecosystem vendors a streamlined pathway to premium upstream connectivity without maintaining their own data center presence. Delivered as a single managed connection, the Capcon NaaS fabric aggregates Tier-1 IP transit (AS14016), in-facility Internet Exchange (IX) peering, major cloud on-ramp connectivity, broad connectivity fabric to connect to other providers and always-on DDoS mitigation — without the need for expensive hardware and colocation. As broadband operators and builders push to close the digital divide and expand last-mile reach, middle-mile and upstream connectivity often become bottlenecks due to lengthy POP builds, fragmented vendor ecosystems and high capital costs. Capcon’s NaaS addresses these challenges by providing operators with premium connectivity and content-proximity services through a single managed handoff, enabling faster market entry, lower operational costs and improved end-user performance. Key features include 10 G to 400 G scalable ports with LAG support, carrieragnostic access, in-facility peering and cloud on-ramps, and an OpEx-centric model. The service also simplifies operations using a Clearview customer portal and single global support team. Operators expanding into rural and underserved markets face unique challenges: slower deployment cycles, limited middle-mile options and constrained resources. By offering a managed NaaS fabric with existing metro presence, Capcon shortens rollout timelines and reduces upstream cost barriers — helping accelerate broadband access while maintaining high network performance. “The industry has never had more funding — or more friction,” said Capcon CEO Offir Schwartz. “Billions are being poured into rural broadband, yet many networks stall before they get off the ground, or worse, never deliver on their promise to provide fast, reliable internet to their communities. Our NaaS fabric was built to remove that friction. We make everything a rural broadband operator needs to deliver world-class internet as easy to consume as power from a socket — so providers can spend more time connecting communities.” The Capcon NaaS fabric is now live in Chicago, Atlanta and New Jersey, and will soon be available in Dallas and other locations — each offering local peering, cloud on-ramps and 24×7 NOC support. p Meet with the Capcon team at Deal Center Table 7. 8 THE INCOMPAS SHOW I NOVEMBER 2 - 4, 2025 www.bekabusinessmedia.com DAY 1 Capcon Networks Simplifies Upstream with Managed NaaS for Network Operators CSPs are in a race against time as the FCC’s new Do-NotOriginate (DNO) mandate takes effect, with the December 15 compliance deadline quickly approaching. According to iconectiv, consumers are now receiving an average of 13 spam or fraud calls a month and losing $850 million annually to phone-based fraud, increasing the need the need for trusted, data-driven protection. iconectiv is taking the lead with its TruOps Telecom Routing Administration (TRA) — the industry’s authoritative numbering intelligence platform. More than a centralized hub for real-time routing, rating, billing and numbering assignments, TRA is the backbone of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), and is relied on by wireline, wireless and VoIP operators across the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. As DNO enforcement raises the stakes, TRA empowers CSPs to identify and block invalid, unallocated, unused and inbound-only numbers — closing critical gaps that fraudsters exploit. This week, iconectiv is also debuting next-generation routing innovations to further assist CSPs with their DNO compliance efforts. The company’s enhanced routing capabilities, which integrate directly with TRA’s authoritative data to dynamically detect and reroute risky traffic, are designed to ensure business continuity and elevate network integrity. With automated controls and real-time numbering intelligence, CSPs can not only meet DNO requirements but stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics and regulatory expectations. p Visit iconectiv at Booth 107 to explore the future of DNO compliance and intelligent routing. iconectiv Announces DNO Compliance and Next- Generation Routing Solutions Great Plains Communications Deploys Ciena Coherent Routing Solutions in Illinois and Indiana Great Plains Communications (GPC), a leading digital infrastructure provider, has collaborated with Ciena to upgrade its carrier backbone and transport networks in Illinois and Indiana. Metro region.” p MaiaEdge has announced a groundbreaking solution which enables network operators to automate network-to-network interface (NNI) and cloud connectivity provisioning, turning months of manual work into minutes. For network operators, traditional NNIs are manual, slow, and complex. Enabling cloud connectivity is even more challenging, requiring extensive protocols and coordination. Once traffic leaves their network, operators lose visibility over type 2 connections. These manual processes and lack of visibility delay service delivery and make ensuring SLAs nearly impossible. MaiaEdge, which was founded by the team behind Acme Packet and 128 Technology, offers a new approach — enabling operators to federate and provide cloud access automatically. With MaiaEdge, operators can now rapidly connect with partner networks, automatically connect customers to cloud on-ramps without complex protocols or extensive configuration, and maintain sovereignty across federated networks and cloud connections. MaiaEdge also offers offering deterministic, encrypted paths without the complexity of traditional routing stacks. For network operators, this means faster time to revenue through instant service provisioning, expanded reach without infrastructure investment by federating with partners in minutes, and the ability to offer premium services that customers demand. p MaiaEdge will present during the Breakfast & Learn session, “Flip the Switch: Faster, Simpler Private Connectivity,” on Tuesday, November 4, at 7:30 a.m. in Tampa Ballroom 1. The team will also be available in Booth K6. TransNexus announced Branded Calling ID (BCID), an exciting new way for voice service providers to offer branded calling services to their enterprise customers and display trusted caller brand information to their subscribers. Unlike proprietary branded calling solutions, voice service providers can participate in the BCID ecosystem and earn revenue for providing this service to their customers on both inbound and outbound calls. BCID caller information is independently verified by an authorized BCID Vetting Agent, which ensures that caller information relayed to terminating service providers is trustworthy. BCID also uses RCD capabilities in STIR/SHAKEN to transmit branded calling information within the SHAKEN PASSporT. To send this information, the enterprise, OSP and BCID authorized Signing Agent all must join the BCID ecosystem and agree to abide by the rules. When the OSP originates a branded call in the BCID ecosystem, the Signing Agent authenticates the call with a SHAKEN certificate issued by CTIA, which is an approved STI Certification Authority. This certificate is only used on BCID calls. When a TSP performs SHAKEN verification on a BCID-branded call, it knows that the call is a legitimate BCID branded call because the SHAKEN certificate was issued by CTIA. If the TSP sees that the SHAKEN certificate was not issued by CTIA, then the caller information may not carry the benefits of independent third-party vetting and the level of trust that it provides. TransNexus expects that TSPs will use SHAKEN information, including OSP reputation and whether calls are BCID calls, as inputs to the reasonable analytics it applies to calls at termination. p Stop by Booth K4 to meet the TransNexus team and learn more about Branded Calling ID. Lightcore MetroNet Announces Major Infrastructure Investment Access Marketing Company (AMC) announced a new service line dedicated to AI-driven account-based marketing (ABM).
