1 4 WISPAMERICA 2021 I APRIL 26 - 29, 2021 www.bekabusinessmedia.com DAY 1 Baicells Showcases Six New Fixed Wireless CBRS Products BEC Technologies Launches MaxRange Gigabit LTE Outdoor Router B aicells Technologies, a leading LTE and 5G hardware manufacturer, is displaying six new CBRS LTE and 5G fixed wire - less products at this week’s WISPAMERICA 2021. These products range from upcoming 5G fixed wireless eNBs that will help rural internet providers begin providing 5G services to their rural and suburban subscribers to a new micropop solution designed to help operators fill coverage holes in their existing networks. “CBRS has really changed the number of opportunities that fixed wireless internet service providers now have,” said Boun Senekham, vice president of sales for Baicells. “When Baicells launched in North America six years ago, we were all about getting an affordable, easy LTE solution to the wireless internet providers. Now, we are looking to take that a step further. We want to be able to provide an LTE or 5G CBRS solution for every single deployment solution out there, but we want to stay close to our roots of being affordable and easy to deploy. These CBRS-centric products are the result of this shift to a wider market who now can serve a far larger audience than they ever have in the past. We want to be able to support these operators and help them continue to expand and densify their networks.” Baicells new eNBs include the Nova 430, the Neutrino 430, the Nova 846N, and the Gamma 846. In addition, there is a new BBU, the Pulsar 1000N which works with the Gamma product line to offer a distributed solution with a clear upgrade path to build a 5G network. The CAT15 CPE is the latest high-gain CPE available from Baicells and offers high-throughput to meet subscribers data needs. “The Nova 430 was designed to really help serve those pockets of unserviceable customers you tend to see in fixed-wireless networks,” said Jesse Raasch, CTO of Baicells. “Typically, those pockets only exist because there is not a good, affordable solution to help reach those customers. The Nova 430 will alleviate that problem. The Neutrino 430 offers a similar power consumption as the Nova 430, but that unit was specifically constructed for indoor deployments. The applica - tion is largely the same – eliminating dead zones within a network, but the products themselves differ on antenna design. The Nova 846N is an 8x5W eNB and the Gamma 846 has the same power output but is a 5G-ready solution. Everyone on our team is very excited about the CAT15 CPE. It is one of the most powerful CPEs available in this market and we have seen great results with it so far. Overall, we have a very strong CBRS product portfolio that can allow WISPs to mix- and-match hardware for nearly any deployment scenario and we’re excited to see all the clever ways operators will utilize them.” All base stations listed have undergone CBRS certification and will be available later in 2021, with the Neutrino 430 and CAT15 CPE ready for immediate purchase. m Visit Baicells at WISPAMERICA booth #539 or contact the company at sales_na@baicells.com. B EC Technologies Inc., a leading devel - oper and manufacturer of 4G LTE and 5G NR wireless broadband network connectivity solutions, has unveiled a new addition to its RidgeWave series of 4G LTE Outdoor routers, the MaxRange 7000 R26. The high-performance solution delivers secure and resilient communications for industrial indus - tries supporting demanding applications in chal - lenging or harsh environments. The MaxRange 7000 R26 has achieved Tier 1 carrier certification, including FCC Part 96 end-user device authorization for Band 48 OnGo CBRS networks. It is immediately available for oil & gas, utilities, mining, transportation hubs, and other industries that require mission-critical network connectivity. The solution integrates Gigabit LTE Category 18 capable of 1.2Gbps DL and 150 Mbps UL peak data rates, FDD and TDD carrier aggre - gation up to 5CA DL / 2CA UL, high gain 4X4 MIMO for increased capacity and extended coverage, and 256 QAM for higher throughput. Unique to BEC devices are GORE Vents for pressure equalization, humidity, and airflow – this accompanied by lighting/ESD protec - tion and the IP68/UL 50E enclosure to ensure protection against dirt, harmful ingress of water, humidity, and extreme temperatures provide for years of dependable operation. The MaxRange 7000 R26 operates seam - lessly with BECentral, BEC’s cloud management platform, as a complete solution for managing large-scale UE deployments. Administrators will have real-time device management and control, proactive alerts and notifications, data connectivity management, robust analytics and reporting, full lifecycle management, and API extensibility. m Visit BEC Technologies at WISPAMERICA booth #736 or at bectechnologies.net.
