Cyber Patrol Keeper Announces Dark Web Monitoring Solution Security Fueling Indirect Software Sales Growth Keeper Security recently unveiled BreachWatch, an enter- prise-level dark web monitoring and risk assessment solution for business customers. Available as an add-on for $20 per user per year, BreachWatch integrates with a company’s existing Keeper Business or Keeper Enterprise subscription. The BreachWatch tool continuously scans user vaults for login credentials that have been exposed on the dark web through a public data breach and notifies users to change com- promised credentials. It helps businesses eliminate blind spots by monitoring for password vulnerabilities across an employee base and notifying them if any employee credentials have been exposed. The solution supports administrator audits to highlight employees with risky or non-compliant behavior. In addition to notifying users of exposed credentials upon logging in, administrators are given user summaries with in- sights into the number of at-risk passwords and password status by user, while maintaining Keeper’s zero-knowledge ar- chitecture. BreachWatch integrates with existing security infor- mation and event management (SIEM) tools to support deeper analysis, and when combined with Keeper’s Advanced Report- ing & Alerts (ARA) module, the platform provides real-time alerts and the ability to isolate specific risky behaviors. Since 2016, U.S. B2B indirect security software sales have seen a steady growth, as businesses large and small recognize the importance of protecting their information. In fact, security software has grown at a 13 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) during that period, according to figures from NPD Group, while non-security software grew at a 9 percent CAGR during the same time period. At the end of 2018, security soft- ware made up 22 percent of B2B software sales. Within the information security software market, the security information and event management (SIEM) (+26 percent) and identity and access management (+18 per- cent) segments showed the greatest growth year to date, each outpacing the total B2B software market. Growth in SIEM is being driven by risk management personnel that are seeking solutions within this segment to help with regulatory compliance in industries such as financial services and healthcare, said NPD. In the identity and access management segment, sales are on the rise as businesses continue their adoption of cloud-based ap- plications, in part as a solution to manage multiple user identities across platforms. 51 July - August, 2019 | Channel Vision
