icymi AireSpring announced the pro- motion of Daniel Lonstein to the position of president and chief revenue officer. Lonstein, who has served as AireSpring’s COO since 2006, is one of the founding mem- bers of the organization. During his tenure as COO, AireSpring expand- ed its organization, revenues and product lines dramatically, advanc- ing into new technologies such as SD-WAN, while significantly grow- ing its managed services offerings, said the company. Avi Lonstein currently serves the company as CEO. “The industry has reached an inflection point, and AireSpring is uniquely suited to capitalize on this given our strength in serving multi- location and mid-to-large enterprises,” stated Daniel Lonstein. “We are stra- tegically investing significant capital to meet the increased demand for our managed services business. These investments allow us to fill the void for our customers left by the larger mega-carriers that are not prepared or able to deliver the personalized, high-touch services to the mid-market that are both needed and appreciated by these organizations.” The latest release of Impartner’s partner relationship management (PRM) solution makes it possible for channel managers to edit, in real time, not only the content but also their partners’ experience in their Partner Portals, without the help of IT, says the company. The reengineered Content Management System (CMS) allows users to both add and change pages by program segment, tier, region, etc., with a drag and drop interface, and make content changes using the solution’s new, intuitive control interface, the Momentum Bar. “By instantly making any exist- ing collateral co-brandable, we’re removing the time, budgeting and logistical challenges that in the past have caused vendors to limit the col- lateral they provide,” said Impartner senior director of product manage- ment, Gary Sabin. Also with this release, SegmentAI segmentation functionality has been updated with a new wizard that is “making it drop-dead simple for channel managers to bring their segmentation strategies to life with a few clicks,” said the company. Windstream Holdings has ac- quired Mass Communications of New York in a $37.5 million all-cash transaction. Mass Communications is a network management company that works for small to mid-sized global companies in the financial, legal, health care, technology, education and government sectors, providing custom-engineered voice, data and networking services. “This acquisition adds a well-run company with a customer-first mind- set and an impressive track record of growing revenue to Windstream,” said Layne Levine, president of Wind- stream’s Enterprise & Wholesale unit. Windstream also announced that Mass Communications CEO Darren Mass has been named president of resale for Windstream’s Enter- prise & Wholesale unit. Windstream closed on its $227.5 million all-cash acquisition of Broadview Networks Holdings Inc. in July and closed on its $1.1 billion all-stock acquisition of Earthlink Holdings Corp. in Feb- ruary 2017. Lepton Global Solutions, an end-to- end satellite communications solutions provider, recently launched Lepton BOOST, a secure SD-WAN solution designed to optimize satellite connec- tion link traffic, powered by FatPipe Net- works. BOOST is designed to facilitate the secure delivery of data to customer locations from VSAT-based endpoints. Integrated into the company’s ground infrastructure, Lepton’s BOOST virtual network utilizes five “engines” to provide WAN optimization: security, efficien- cy, quality of service (QoS), congestion control and virtualized routing. BOOST provides WAN network management spe- cifically designed to address the high-la- tency, low-bandwidth environment of sat- ellite networking with features including caching, compression, acceleration, VPN IPsec and global single IP addressing. “Lepton’s FatPipe-powered BOOST SD-WAN solution has the potential to transform satellite connections by intro- ducing the enormous benefits of virtual- izing and overlaying various satellite network links,” said Sanch Datta, CTO, FatPipe Networks. “Lepton BOOST customers can now rely on secure and cost-effective routing of data and applica- tions between headquarters and remote locations without concern for network performance or data breaches.” Jenne Named Avaya’s First Master Agent Value-added technology distribu- tor Jenne, Inc., has launched a new master agent program for Avaya Cloud IP Office, which is based on Avaya’s IP Office platform.
