Charter Rebrands TWC

NY as Spectrum

Charter Communications

has an-

nounced the launch of its Spectrum

brand in New York City, one of the major

markets acquired through its takeover

of Time Warner Cable (TWC) in 2016.

Charter said it’s in the process of transi-

tioning all remaining analogue TWC and

Bright House Networks cable systems

to all-digital networks, enabling custom-

ers to take full advantage of its two-way

capable, fiber-rich network.

“At Charter, we are working hard to

redefine what a cable company can be

and we call it Spectrum,” said Tom Rut-

ledge, CEO of Charter.

The rebrand campaign reportedly got

underway in Los Angeles and Dallas in

the latter half of 2016.
