Connected Data Adds THREE

Channel Partners in Europe

Connected Data has announced further expansion across

the European market, signing three new strategic channel

partners: Blue Profile, NDC and Virtek.

The new partners will provide Connected Data’s Transporter

for Business, private cloud file sync and share (FSS) appliances to

their respective network of customers across the UK and Ireland.

The announcement comes fast on the heels of announcing its

first value added distributor in Europe, Commtech.

“We carefully select partners with proven capability in

taking emerging technologies to market,” said Russell John-

son, COO of Connected Data. “These strategic partnerships

continue to show our commitment to delivering private cloud

file sync and share solutions across Europe, helping us to offer

a secure alternative option to popular public cloud services.”

Launched in 2015, Transporter for Business appliances

offers businesses an FSS solution that is 100 percent private

and secure.

Virtek, which specializes in virtualization, cloud services

and data storage for SMBs, has a strong customer base within

the financial, legal, retail and gaming sectors; and data secu-

rity is the prime focus for VAR and consultancy NDC. For

Blue Profile, the IT infrastructure and security specialist, the

issue was to find its customers a solution that gave them con-

trol over data locality.

“Everyone has heard of Dropbox, but we wanted some-

thing innovative and different, we were looking for a more

secure option that could guarantee security, data control and

location control but still offer all of the major benefits of a

public cloud solution,” said Wayne Kenward, director at Blue

Profile. “Transporter for Business fits this need.”
