DAY 1
E
arthLink Holdings Corp., a managed
network and cloud solutions provider for
multilocation businesses, announced the
availability of its multiservice aggregation
platform in key markets and the extension of multi-
protocol label switching (MPLS) access to carrier
customers across its entire network footprint.
The result enables its carrier customers to service
new geographic areas and to offer new access options
in existing regions.
EarthLink’s new multiservice aggregation (MSAG)
platform delivers a single network interconnect
capable of aggregating EarthLink Carrier MPLS NNI
and EarthLink Carrier E-Access products.
MSAG enables customers to extend their MPLS
network and Layer 2 Ethernet services throughout the
EarthLink network footprint while simplifying network
configuration and reducing expenses.
This footprint includes 25 key markets including
New York City; Worcester, Mass.; Chicago, Dallas
and Los Angeles, as well as other Southeastern
areas. MSAG can be provisioned across a single
network-to-network interface (NNI) or multiple
NNIs with redundancy built in to achieve business
continuity requirements.
EarthLink Carrier’s new MPLS access extends its
existing MPLS network, enabling customers to choose
DSL, DS1, Ethernet over fiber, cable and wireless
connection capabilities to connect remote service
locations to the MPLS network.
With five class-of-service levels across seven
different profiles, customers can prioritize traffic as
needed so critical information takes precedence.
EarthLink Carrier’s MPLS access also features T1, wire-
less or DSL backup options to ensure business conti-
nuity for each remote location.
EarthLink provides managed network, security and
cloud solutions for multi-location businesses. It helps
thousands of specialty retailers, restaurants, financial
institutions, healthcare providers, professional service
firms and local governments deliver a reliable and
engaging customer experience.
This is accomplished because EarthLink builds and

ized infrastructure security, hosted voice, secure WiFi
and compliance solutions.
EarthLink operates a nationwide network spanning
more than 28,000 fiber route miles, with 90 metro
fiber rings and secure data centers that provide ubiq-
uitous data and voice IP service coverage. For more
